4:40 It allows you to switch between 2 devices on the fly which is a nice to have feature and you really don't need the enhanced receiver for your secondary device.
Many other mice offer this too but it's usually bluetooth + 2.4Ghz. Only Vaxee and Zowie offer 2.4Ghz + 2.4Ghz afaik.

zowie is like the toyota of the mouse space, they dont update their products often, but when they do its usually tested and reliable tech.

It might help to test the wifi independently. There is a good chance they have interference. Do you kniw what channels they use? One could be getting interference from your wifi as well..
