  • As we've been super busy these past few months, these scrumptious pecan bliss balls have been a lifesaver!! They're made in a pinch and remind me of pecan pie!

    INGREDIENTS
    1 cup (110g) unsalted pecans
    7 Medjool dates (or 1 cup dates of choice). Soak 10min in boiling water if too dry and squeeze out the excess water before blending.
    1 tbsp (15ml) pure maple syrup
    1 tbsp water (omit if soaking the dates)
    1/8 to 1/4 tsp pink or sea salt
    INSTRUCTIONS
    In a dry food processor, pulse the nuts as finely as you can. Remove and set aside.
    Add your chopped dates to the food processor along with the maple syrup and water and process into a thick paste, scraping down the side as needed.
    Add your chopped nuts back in with a generous pinch of salt (or two, the salty taste works really well here!). Pulse until a nice ball forms.
    Take a small amount and roll between your palms to form the bliss balls. The mixture should be gooey but still workable. It will harden a bit in the fridge and won't be as sticky.
    Refrigerate for at least one hour. Store in the fridge.
