Thank you so much! If you hadn't seen we are going to be starting a Knit a long for the Clupeidae scarf from the book. Also, make sure to check tumpedduck.com for published errata.
Thank you! When I finished it and took it off the blocking pins I showed it to my husband. He said "I think that is the most beautiful thing you have done so far." That definitely earned him some brownie points.
Boy i sure do like this the colors are stunning together. Just curious has anyone tried making this with fingering weight yarn? I am fond of a heavier yarn like sport wondered what how fingering would look and hang. I see this one in my future.
The book hasn't actually come out yet so no one has knit it but me LOL! The other three shawls in the book are fingering weight so that might give you an idea. The swoopy curves would not have as much impact in thinner yarn but it could look cool!
I know this was posted awhile ago, but could anybody let me if this pattern can lend itself to four skeins in a pretty gradual fade if I use one contrasting colour for the bits travelling vertical (in the samples case the blue?) I'd like to knit a large rectangle for a sleeved shawl.
So excited to have found your channel! Just bought your book. Squeee!!!
