I remember when I first turned 18 in February of last year, it was right as covid was starting to clear up. The thought of having to jump back into the real world as an adult definitely was exciting but also scary at the same time. Gonna be 20 in a few months now and definitely have gotten a bit more used to things, but it is a long process and I can’t deny that. Always seems like there are people who have their shit together more than you, but you gotta remember that they had different starting points. What matters most is that you never stop trying to improve, even if it sometimes feels like it’s futile, because discipline in the long-term will get you very far, even if progress in the short term seems minimal. Just remember that any progress is progress. I hope you’ve been having a great birthday!
