I played Sonic Adventure 2 when I was fourteen (I'm fifteen now). Does anyone else think that the Knuckles's zones are one of the best things ever because of the funky weird raps you can laugh at and listen too? Because that was hilarious. "Kick the rock!" was amazing and I'm glad I got to listen to it again. I recently got into the sonic franchise (around 2018 so when I was 12-13). Little did I know this would be one of my favorite fandoms to be a part of in my life. A lot of you are going to hate me for this... But I got into the Sonic Fandom because my little brother introduced me to Sonic Forces (none of you can tell me that was a bad game because it was one of the best I played). Sure it wasn't as good as the games I played later on like Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Generations, but it was still a good game. Hey, At least it wasn't Sonic Boom. I immediately fell in love with Shadow when he entered in level 15 and after I finished Sonic Forces I came to the conclusion that Infinite and Shadow are my top two favorite characters. Don't ask me to say who is edgier. THEY ARE BOTH EDGY AND I CAN'T FLIPPING CHOOSE BECAUSE BOTH OF THEM ARE EQUALLY AWESOME!!! Anyway... Thank you for the comeback music. I only played three Sonic games so far. I will name them in chronological order (what I first played to what I finished most recently): Sonic Forces, Sonic Generations, Sonic Adventure 2. By listening to the music I know what classic games I want to play next. (I think I'm gonna play Sonic Adventure next). Don't ask me to play Sonic Boom or Sonic 06. I might play Sonic 06 just for the sake of getting to see what Mephiles, Silver and Blaze were like in the games (you don't have to tell me to shut my eyes for the Elise X Sonic kiss scene😭😨😰🤢🤮 , I already know to shut my eyes then and I will).
So happy to see some ATS representation here!

I have such mixed feelings toward that song because it's one of my favorites from that soundtrack, but that level?
Is hell.
I also love how GUN Fortress can be classified as "chill" from a purely musical point of view but it's oppossite in every aspect to it during the actual gameplay.
This is an amazing playlist especially for these times, the quarantine is sooo boring and online school is a drag, this playlist is what's keeping me alive ;)

there's just something about Sonic music that i just dont understand, its so flipping catchy. does anybody know what kind of genre this would be under? everytime i hear something like it, it reminds me of anything Sonic. so they must have a certain style of music
I looked up what kind of music is video game music and it's similar to chiptunes? If that makes it any easier to understand. I'm right there with you though, there have been some really nice songs from places you would never expect (a sonic game of all places lol)

Omg when I heard a Sonic Shuffle song I about lost my shit. That game is so damn underrated. I think I'm one of the few that actually loved that game... more fun than Mario Party at times.

I just got around to listening to this. I've listened to the first compilation multiple times now, and it's introduced me to some absolute jams I've never heard before (Meteor Herd and Bright Lagoon are INCREDIBLE). With all that said, I think I like this one even better. It has new jams for me to revel in (Lost Impact, Aquatic Base), as well as some of my personal favourites (Saturn Rusty Ruin, Aquarium Park, Gaia Gate, Jungle Joyride Night). I love how you've pulled these tracks from a wide variety of Sonic games (even a fan game!). Thanks for the compilation, I'll be listening to it many a time in the future, I'm sure.
Also the second track is written the wrong way around in the description and the captions. It should be Rusty Ruin Zone Act 2 ~ Sonic 3D (Saturn) to be consistent with the others.
