So what has the cast been up to over the last couple years since the show ended? Both their personal and professional lives have been pretty busy. Charles Michael Davis and Joseph Morgan have been keeping really busy in their careers, appearing in many TV shows and films.
Joseph Morgan even started his own production company. And Phoebe Tonkin wrote and directed her first short film. While Claire Holt and Daniel Gillies both went through divorces and found a new love.

Late bloomer here, just finished binge watching the entire series,, went thru so many boxes of kleenex, lordy what an incredibly moving spectacular journey! How the story magically progresses and hugs the heart tightly as you feel every step and breath of each character makes 'the monsters' so incredibly everything from maddening to lovable, how they inspire within our own selves how fragile we all truly are, earning impeccible respect for the almost incomprehensible bravery we witness , gave me many moments food for thought at how deeply we are all connected in this crazy creatively messy chaotically thing called life. I love also how scenes of physical love were tastefully shown to an appropriate suggestive point and left gracefully there . So very well done .
