Funnily enough we were actually gonna be given a boss that we originally had to go back in time to destroy the parts as the future version was indestructible instead we got generators and holograms to destroy and a fucking d pad for a final boss!
Ok these pitches make the boss fight feel like it has an extra act after beating it down the first time like if the unused final boss was the true final boss and that previous final boss was just a decoy no imagine if that were actually true and the pitch at the ending with the cutscene makes you feel as if you've beaten eggman for good for a little bit before another entity comes to try and face sonic

(Really in a perfect universe I'd wish for every mix to get extended!) I get not having them be too extended in videos of this format but a playlist of each mix extended would be amazing!
