Keep on your path bro. You obviously seem to have your head on your shoulders. I'm 44 and only now have I bought my first new Ninja and home (had help 💯). Hopefully you continue being happy living the dream of so many people
I started with a 200 in Medellin, then got this 500 in Miami and hoping for maybe a Ducati monster or something to get me into a higher displacement bike
You couldn't have bought a better looking bike. Stay safe whilst learning and riding. Well done brother 💯💚 and welcome to the 40th anniversary family 😂🎉. My wife and I also have a 500 40th (each) without a single regret. I just got mine back today after getting Oxford heated grips fitted by a Kawasaki dealer (can't lose my 2yr warranty now lol). I also paid for second oil and filter change plus the chain tension as I'm lazy.(2200km and have only owned it weeks💚) Obviously I am loving the 500 40th anniversary and the beautiful colours on them. Hopefully you are as happy as what I am. 👍 From Australia
Congrats to you and your wife on your new bikes. I live in Colombia so I ride a couple days a week when I fly up to Miami every week. When I came to USA from Southern Africa they all thought my accent was Australian lol.
@@senorchocolateDon't listen to anyone trying to get you to ride past your comfort zone. Also if you go on group rides DON'T TRY TO KEEP UP because keep in mind, quite a few of the boys would have track experience and more. 500 is perfect to learn on and in a few years then I'd say look at 600-1000 sports bikes for Top speed. Top speed runs are for the track. Euro 5 45hp 500 does over 190kmh so American 51hp would be little quicker.
@@jamesgeorgevellavella1961 To increase my learning speed im looking at doing the 2 day Yamaha Riding school course with my 500 on the track. Thanks for the advice about the group rides, luckily Im old enough to know that I don't need to try to impress other faster riders if I happen to be riding with them.
@@mech14Nine I don’t think it has a quick shifter stock but maybe I’m wrong . I’m looking at upgrading to the zx6r, Ducati monster or the 2025 s1000rr with private lessons on the track

Cool ride , love the 500. I rode a 250, 1 year later upgraded to 300, 3 years later , at the 400. I’m thinking the 500 is next . LFG

Congrats bro. Its beautiful 🎉
@@MiguelRPD thanks, I didn’t think I would get people staring at me at gas stations on a 451cc, but it’s been happening lol
I Love the new look and color way of the 40TH ANNIVERSARY
I had originally planned to get it and wrap it but that color scheme looks amazing
@@senorchocolateI wanted to get mine wrapped too. Difference between us is I wanted clear (first 500 40th bike showing small scratches 🤬).

@@senorchocolatethat is really good to hear about the course and your mentality. Stay safe and experience will come with the more you ride
Congratulations🎉
