Jon is the rightful owner of the #1 P4P spot. Unbeaten in title fights & the most title wins in the history of the sport. Islam isn't even close to accomplishing what Jon has. Nobody is, not by a longshot.
I agree 100% with lukes assessment here. Jon Jones is being hailed as the goat i think just for ufc to generate money. So far he's done of note as a heavyweight and has consistently fought much smaller opponents at 205 where he was good. He's one of the greats nonetheless.

He's been a 170 pounder his whole career. Islam is a combat sambo russian, european and world champion in that weight class (has 300+ amateteur fights). Cutting 20 lb is not really a problem. Even Volk was over 170 and cut 23 lb on 11 days notice
And when he asks to move up, people said he should defend in 155 first before moving up 😂 we can't please everybody.
Y’all said the same thing with Usman. Then Usman went up to 185 and everyone said he was tiny. These weight classes are 15 lbs apart, you can be big for 155 and small for 170.
