Britney Spears Midnight Fantasty is my signature scent.
Athough I'm a 40 year old woman and have been wearing it for more than 15 years, I would never let it go.
People chase me down in the street to tell me I smell good.
It's juicy and sweet, has great lasting power, and is a little complex, but not too much.
I always try to branch out to find perfumes that are less "juvenile" but honestly, I don't like them. More recently, the Kayali Eden Juicy Apple has been something I've enjoyed, but it's mostly because it smells very reminiscent of Midnight Fantasy.
I'll be wearing that glorious elixir until I'm 90, and then you can pry it from my cold dead fingers lol.

I got so excited when I saw the Katy Perry Mad Potion in the thumbnail! I have been trying to "adult" more with my fragrances lately, but I keep almost getting the mad potion because it's cute. Scent profile you described though sounds really nice and fresh and I love vanilla base notes with some fruit and florals so I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this perfume now.

When I was a teen, Katy Perry had a perfume called Katy Purry and the bottle was in the shape of a cat and it was light pink.... It's quite a juvenile scent but omg that smell is the smell of my teenagehood 🤣 funny how we associate memories with certain smells, especially perfumes/body sprays etc.
The pink one is called Meow! I recently bought it and i love it so much! The purple one is called Purr, im thinking of getting it soon too :3 And yes, i can clearly remember people from really specific and random smells!
It’s Meow probably bc Purr was darker purple. But I loved Meow, I still have the bottle. But Killer Queen in red is also really good! A nice adult upgrade lol Nearly every spray and perfume I own, it’s connected to a certain place or time of my life smell-wise. I do that a lot lol
I still have my Meow! scent, wanted Purr! but my family hated the scent and wouldn’t let me get it ://
Give Rogue by Rihanna a try. Also not technically a celeb fragrance, but you HAVE to try seductive noir by Guess, it is absolutely incredible!
I have SJP Stash (cold weather) and Lovely (warm weather). Both are great.

My Absolute Favorite Celebrity Fragrance is by Jessica Simpson!!! It's Called Fancy and it's the Original Fancy they have a few variations, but the one that is just called Fancy is the Original and My Favorite!!! We have very similar taste in Fragrance do I highly recommend it ❤🥰❤
I have my go to couple of perfumes these days, but I can’t help but watch these videos when you post them just because of the absolute joy I see in you talking about fragrances. Please make as many of these as you want. I love the makeup content, and that is why I’ve been here for years now, but seeing you talk about what interests you is such a special thing. Hope that doesn’t sound dumb! Just know we appreciate you.
JLo Glow came out when I was in college. It reminds of that time.
But my most favorite perfume is actually something ive never worn, its L'air du Temps. My grandmother wore it. Its the only perfume she wore. She had many, many bottles of it. Even body oils with the fragrance. I remember how beautiful the bottles were with the little birds on the lid. Whenevr she would hug me I could smell it on her, so many amazing memories with that scent. She died in 2006 and I took almost all of the bottles she had collected. I used to pull out the box, spray it on the box lid and cry. Cry, Cry, Cry lol
As a child of the 80s I can say one of my fave celebrity scent was electric youth. That stuff smelled great and I have never found a good dupe for it and I have tried a lot.

I just got the small purse spray of Billie Eilish and it is SOOOOO good. I think it’s going to take over Ariana’s Cloud as my favorite. You gotta try it!!!!

Looooooved watching this! I never really know what anyone means when they say perfumes smell like a "generic celebrity fragrance", because I feel like all my celebrity perfumes smell so different haha. Even though a lot of people associate celebrity perfumes with being generic, not unqiue, and juvenile I will probably never stop wearing them because I love them so much. The ones in my collection that I love are Meow by Katy Perry; Britney Spears' Fantasy, Midnight Fantasy, & Prerogative; Ari by Ariana Grande; and Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck Enchanted.
I've been loving Paris Hiltons' perfumes lately. I tried one yearsss ago and loved it and something made me think of her during the Black Friday sales so decided to see if I could still get her perfumes in Australia and found them for 50% off so bought a bunch.

Britney Spears Curious was my first perfume and I was OBSESSED with it in middle school. I honestly want to smell it again because the notes still sound like something I'd enjoy. I also loved Katy Perry Killer Queen and its flankers in college but never smelled her other fragrances. Indi sounds amazing though!
So happy you are doing this! I’m on a budget and perfumes can be so pricey- I’m always on the hunt for something good but still affordable!
My celebrity collection almost exclusively begins and ends with SJP - Lovely (too musky for me); Covet (delightfully weird); and Stash, which is one of my all time favorite perfumes, even over my niche options. I always look at the bottles at TJ Maxx but never seem to buy. Adam Levine for Her is another good one if you like sandalwood, have found that for a song.
I used to LOVE Celine dion perfume, original. I think she has others but the first was amazing. I would always get compliments on it. I don’t think they make it anymore🥲 wow teenager memory unlocked lol

My mom always gets compliments when she wears Curious by Britney Spears and Reb’l Fleur from Rihanna. And my favorites are Killer Queen by Katy Perry and Moonlight (my go to now) by Ariana Grande. I tend to be very one perfume at a time as a person lol I also loved Meow by Katy Perry too but that’s such a teenage scent!
What do you think of Nirvana by Elizabeth & James as a celebrity fragrance? It's by Mary Kate & Ashley Olson which always blows my mind lol! I love woody fragrances by have started mixing Nirvana Black with Butterfly by Hanae Mori recently, it becomes totally different but amazing together.
My favourite celebrity scent has forever been Christina Aguilera Signature. I still keep it in my collection. It brings all the nostalgia. :D

I loved this first impression format, your reaction to the KP Indi was so cute!! I'd be curious to hear your opinion on the Sol Body (aka Colourpop) fragrances. They just have a few body spritzers and rollerballs but I honestly think their sprays are quite lovely! There is a vanilla coconut scent that I'm curious about how it stacks up to your other vanilla loves! On the much higher end have you smelled Dior Bois d'Argent? It's a big cult favourite and I'm wondering if it might be the scent that has patchouli yet you really vibe with it!

I think that Cher and Sophia Loren had great fragrances. Super nice chypres. I think Sarah Jessica Parker had a couple of good ones. JLo Glow was a good weekday scent. Soft enough for the office. Isabella Rossellini Manifesto was great. Basil and black pepper. After that it was gourmand overload for me. Too sweet. Too dessert like. I’m not into sweet. Give me a good chypre, a sharp, crisp green, or a zingy fresh citrus without sugar.

I’m heavenly into perfume and I have about 75 celebrity perfumes. There’s a few gems in here. Love the Prerogative but hated Rave and it’s up for sale. Love the Beyoncé Heat and the KKW’s are not bad.

I had the cat bottle ones. They leaked 😣 the small purse size and the big bottle. My purse reeked. They smelled good but too much is too much.

I love my dior and chanel perfumes but I always have a soft spot for Katy perry purr and Rihanna rebel fleur. Those are like my work place every day perfumes.
I'm still so sad that they discontinued Hilary Duff's "With Love" perfume. It was a woodsy dream. 💔

If you love iso e super and vanilla, I recommend getting your nose on Commidity Gold Personal (there are three interpretations of the same fragrance). It's a lovely, airy vanilla with a unisex touch.
My favorite celebrity perfumes are Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, Fantasy Intimate by Britney Spears and Indy by Katy Perry.
My favourite celebrity fragrance, which also happens to be my absolute favourite perfume of all time, is Sean John Empress. It's very fruity, but I love that.
I love Katy Perry Indivisible. It lasts a really long time too.

My perfect scent would have tobacco, be woody, have - vanilla, fig, rose, sandalwood, some coconut and that santal kinda thing going on. Any ideas what this perfume is? Lol. I also really like coffee bean too & bergamot can be nice, sometimes even a lil patchouli in small doses can be good. IS THERE A WEBSITE WHERE YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN PERFUME FROM THE NOTES!?? Omg Genius. Or a store?? This sounds amazing!
You can search by notes of combination of notes on Fragrantica!! Also the perfume you are receiving sounds a little like Le Labo's The Noir 29, i think. You could check the notes on Fragrantica, super recommended site!!
I'm on a fragrance journey myself I like alot of Juliette has a gun line myself plus I love Donna born in Roma... I its so hard to find a perfume that just speaks to me. I have found all perfumes have to dry down to begin to get an idea of what they smell like. Celebrity fragrance = bath and body works candles or lotions I think that alot too.
Indi might be my favorite celebrity perfume; I layer it with BBW Snowflakes and Cashmere. It's hard to judge the wear time because I definitely go nose-blind to it easily.
And definitely try SJP's if you haven't already.

Well I now need to get that Ego & Katy Perry perfume you suggested. Still wanna know if you have ever tried the 7 Virtues Santal Vanille perfume??? It is my favorite atm and love it so much. I also have their other Vanilla perfume that is more popular and their Amber Rose perfume. Both of those are nice too. I recently bought the Lily one they have and that one reminds me of something an old lady would wear, so not my favorite at all. But SANTAL VANILLE 🥰🥰🥰💓 YASS!
I have tried Santal Vanille at the beginning of getting into scents but I haven’t smelled it in a while! I remember liking it but not loving it! I will definitely make sure to smell it next time I am in Sephora again because my nose has changed so much in just a short time!!

I don’t think I’ve ever had a celebrity perfume 🤷🏻♀️ I like a lot of different smells. It just depends on my mood. I’ll have to go smell these before I decide on what I like.
I wonder what you would think of Iman’s Love Memoir (to celebrate her love story with David Bowie)! It was released late last year and has notes that you seem to be drawn to, including bergamot & vanilla. There is patchouli in the base but you might still be okay with it - I have some real problems with patchouli but find this one does not overpower the blend as often happens. I think it’s lovely with a nice balance of sweetness and depth, and it doesn’t strike me as a standard celebrity fragrance!!

The drydown on Katy Perry Purr reminds me of Pinrose Secret Genius! Purr is a bit less warm overall bc of the fruity top and mid notes. I personally liked it and finished the bottle but my cousin said it reminded her of play doh. Lol!

I only have 2 celebrity scents but I enjoy them both. SJP stash (which I found on clearance at tj maxx for around $10 for 3 bottles) and JLo still which is a nice warmer weather scent. I think both are considered somewhat unique for celebrity scents. I tend not to favor the more mainstream sweet and fruity blends.
which perfume between "mad love" and "indi visible" lasts longer?
I want to get Prerogative and Private Show just because I have a coffee fixation at the moment but people say they smell very similar!
Is Unbreakable Love similar to ivory soap or Pure Grace? Supposedly, it smells like Mugler cologne, which smells like ivory soap. I'm scared this one will be too masculine. Dirt cheep tho...

I thought Katy Perry’s indie was horrible. Sounds nice till you smell it, it’s a very thick musky smell, almost masculine/coconut scent. It’s not light or feminine smelling in any way. I asked my husband if he liked it he said no and then I asked if he wanted it for himself he said hell no 😂
