@@harvo5788 he seemed cool. But it was only one season, 25 years ago and his first job. So there was no way to know how good of a coach he could be. Plus honestly I didn’t hear much from him because he mainly talked to the QBs and offense. Though I played on the Defense and since our head coach’s expertise was defense, that’s who I mostly interacted with.
i may be a little biased cuz i played center and him talkin about centers made me happy but man i love this guy, as someone who doesnt watch college or really have a team i hope these guys win. i admit i have a hard time listening to most coach interviews but I like this guy a lot! great segment boys
@@firghteningtruth7173 culture doesn't pertain the the football team alone. It pertains to the university, the students, and the people who support it. That's what culture is. And yall have a whiny ass, pitiful culture, boy. Welcome to the SEC 😘
I’m just glad UT is finally winning. It sucked being a fan of a losing team. I want another Mac Brown era. Don’t start Manning over Ewers, keep’’em fresh. We have ships to win. 🤘
Glad you guys are mentioning cfl ( Canadian football league ) extremely exciting league to watching as a Canadian it’s my favourite league. But in saying that the athletes in the nfl are a different breed. But I do hope you guys point out more ex cfl players
he’s talking about his players being psychopaths like him and they all are that’s why they’re going to contend for a natty….UGA is the king of the SEC but they’ll be there this whole year
Funny to see how fanboyish all these ESPN shills were over Texas all week, especially during Gameday. They were all 100% certain Texas was gonna crush the Dawgs. During the broadcast, Chris and Kirk had no good pre-production pieces on Georgia, no Coach Smart, and all pro-Texas banter. Even to point of mocking Georgia all day. Even in this piece, Pat said “if they lose this game it’s all over for them, they’re done”. Really shows how “on board” you have to be staying with the company talking points. It’s why David Pollock got fired. He wasn’t on board with Men in Women’s sports and they fired him. Kirk stayed quiet then, but finally came out and said the same thing, since he basically runs College football, it’s all good then. Lastly, Matthew McConaughey as the “Minister of Culture” is a joke. Pat and Sark talked more about Celebrities, drone shows, and all the hype, but never talked about Dawgs football. How did that Texas Beef O-line work out for you? How did the Minister of Culture work out for you? How did all the ESPN love work out for you? FAFO??? Yes, Texas found out…
I can’t lie when he was hired I was a little hesitant as a fan because he had some shortcomings as s hc before at UW and SC. In hindsight those failures made him a better coach for Texas, but most importantly it was his sobriety. As someone who is and addict myself I have tremendous respect for him and how he has taken control of his life again and is thriving, and is open and forthcoming with what he has been through in life. I think Texas got a special one and in todays world of offense offense offense, getting arguably the top offensive mind in college football will pay dividends for Texas as long as he’s the HC, and I see him being at Texas at least another 12-15 years easy, assuming everything goes good on the field and they keep winning but I think it’s clear that is going to continue to happen. They are recruiting great which isn’t new for Texas but most importantly Sark and his staff have really developed the kids on this team, latest example this year is a guy like Vernon broughtin. He didn’t start til this year, although he played a good amount the last 2 years but this year they way he is playing will get him all sec honors and probably drafted in the 3-4 round. Alfred o looks, another d lineman is s big example of this too. AC started some games but this year he is unsoundly the starting d tackle and he was s 5 star so the talent was always there, size too he’s s freak, but the consistency was his issues but he’s playing more than ever now and he’s played himself into getting drafted and when he goes to the combine and these gm’s see his size (6’5”, 320) and athleticism at that size he’s gonna go 3/4th round too and possibly higher. It almost feels fake seeing Texas with a number 1 next to their name, cuz even darks first season stuff was still very bleak for him but he trusted himself and what they were doing ti build the program and look now, really good shot to win big this year but he’s out them into position where Texas chance of staying good with Sark at HC, regardless of coordinators which they will eventually loose but having kept almost the entire staff the same is so big, cuz under Herman and strong ti s certain degree it was new coaches each year. I think the OC and DC however will be at Texas as long as they want to be bc I don’t see flood taking another HC job, he has young kids and probably wants stability in their lives in addition to being able to get good recruits year in and year out in his own state and him and sark seem to have a very good relationship. Pete K seems like a career dc guy, I don’t see him having HC aspirations.
He was my High School QB coach in So Cal (his first coaching job I believe). It’s great to see how far he’s come.
what was he like then? could u tell he was great coach?

It’s crazy how he went from high school to nfl qb coach in his first like 3-4 years
Best interviewee of any coach. Always great listening to Sark.

We need more Sark and Pat interviews!! 🤘😁
Julio Jones was a Dawg at Bama, I’m glad he’s invested in a car dealership so when he hangs up the cleats, he’ll be okay
He was great with the Falcons also.
Like Sark said....FAFO....Texas certainly found out against Georgia. Welcome to the SEC! 😂
Its been a long time coming 🤘🤘🤘🤘

WIth all do respect coach, many of us do not want an LA NY WS.
i love college football and my longhorns. zero interest in the NFL. i find the NFL boring to watch.

Beat Bama in Bama..was rolling the year before until he got hurt l..threw for over 300 in both those games against Washington
