really useful! thanks! but, i have a question, how to see the results of simple effects? what's the difference between the results of "estimated marginal means" and the simple effets?
This was helpful except it didn't include anything about using planned orthogonal contrasts so now i have no idea how to incorporate those into the SPSS syntax.
Anyone here know how to account for individual in the analysis. I think if this were to be done properly individual within groups would need to be accounted for. Individual 1 could be driving all of the variability within a group thus masking the impacts of the treatment.
hello, can you please show me how to perform 2x2x8 Mixed ANOVA in SPSS between subject factor 2 levels 1)CAI 2) Control, within subject factor 2 levels 1) Injured 2) Uninjured , with 8 levels of directions (AL,A,AM,M,PM,P,PL,L) I am Sports Physio. & i am doing study on tennis players with ankle instability for my Thesis ( masters). I have done the experiment, I have collected the data, but i am facing huge difficulty in feeding it into SPSS and analyzing it. Can you please help me with it. So that i can submit
The production of the table of the significant interaction by using SPSS syntax was excellent! thank you so much. Very helpful :-)
This was a very good example and explanation of mixed design using SPSS.
Couldn't be better explained. GREAT job!!
Excellent explanation! Congratulations! I really appreciate that.
Thank you Nikos for this video, very clear and useful!
great video! much better than many written guides
Wonderful, awesome and very clear explanation. Thank you.
This was the greatest help ever. The person who made this video is the real MVP. Thank you so much
Agreed
What a great explanation. Thanks Nikos
Thank you sooo muc for all the efforts. It saved me a lot

excellent! thanks
If you wanted to look at several pre/post/follow up scores such as body fat and bmi would you run separate ANOVAs for each?
Thanks . can I use mixed design if the samples size of the groups are different?
slow and very clear instruction thx a lot !!!
Excellent and quite easy to understandable...........thnxxxxxxxxxx
Thank you. Saved me :)

great explanation....
thank you so much! It is really usefull
Hi Nikos, what is the statistic used in following up the interaction in spss. Is it a t-statistic?
I suppose it was a simple main effect test
Anybody know what the test is called that is at the very end to follow up

i need help!!!!
with my three way anova, for my project
But how to get group main effect ?
How does SPSS handle missing data if you use this approach? Are all other available data of the subject dropped?
+Nicole de Roos nope! you lose all the data :-( you should use sas or R for that!
