Only 2 reasons 1.Content fatigue .... 2.People want new content high quality content ( if content is good and new then film will do good , else verdict will be disaster ) ....their standards have been increased bcoz consuming quality content from ott from last 4-5 years. And now ott also not giving quality content , so they are also losing subscribers and struggling like Bollywood .
I think the biggest reason is Low Hype and poor marketing. There Marketing teams are very bad and careless. Fighter was a nice film and deserved 500+ crores even yoddha was a nice film and it should cross atleast 250+ crores. Even BMCM Deserves 200+ crores worldwide. But there was no hype and the reviews are also not that epic. If there was a good hype then even okayish reviews could give them a good weekend atleast. Even Maidaan should have cross atleast 200 crores. I think the Highest Grossing Worldwide film of this year will be Pushpa 2 for sure.
