You should definitely play the PSP games, their quality is impeccable. Chains of Olympus happens after Ascension and before GoW 1,giving context to some stuff in GoW 2 and 3. Ghost of Sparta happens between the end of GoW 1 and 2 dwelling more into the past of Kratos, as his hate for the gods grows further.
Chains of Olympus takes place between Ascension and 1, Ghost of Sparta takes place between 1 and 2. I'd say Chains feels the most like a PSP game, while Ghost feels very comparable to 1 and 2 despite being a PSP game. I'd rate Ghost higher than Chains, so play Chains first so you sort of end on a highnote with Ghost. Or play whichever you want, still gonna watch no matter what lmao

souls is my fav element in the game due to how the element works. a lot of it is set and forget, so while you kill something on one side, an attack you did earlier coule be killing osmething behind you. it's neat. thunder is still far stronger though sadly. still, the health orbs come in clutch later (or atleast they did before the difficulty decrease)
If you're going to do the PSP games, you might as well do Chains of Olympus, then do Ghost of Sparta. You already did the main games backwards, so why not do the prequel games forwards?
Would love to see you play Afrosamurai. It has some of the fight elements from Solid snake. And Bulletstorm would fit in these kinda games. It is an Ego shooter but with fighting and skill elements. You have to kill in style to buy upgrades and ammunition. I love your Videos. Keeper doing them💜
I think Myth has already seen the main reason I dislike GoW Ascension, which are the "weapons" or rather elemental powers instead of weapons, GoW 3 had a similar problem with 3 of the 4 weapons being basicalle a chained blade, but at least they had a bigger variety of speed and movesets. Fun fact, GoW Ascension came with a The Last of Us demo, which was the reason I borrowed it from my friend in the first place

Can't wait for you to play the last two ("Betrayal" for mobile is.....I mean the *story* is intriguing but the gameplay is not that great). Play Chains of Olympus first and then Ghost of Sparta because CoO is a bit shorter and not AS epic as GoS. Ghost of Sparta will end your GoW run on a pretty high note, in my opinion. then play Darksiders!!!!!! (Warmastered Edition), Darksiders 2 (Deathinitive Edition), Darksiders 3, and Darksiders Genesis!!!!! (epic Legend of Zelda, Metroid-vania, GoW, Diablo, comic book-y apocalyptic series of games where you play each game as one of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse!!!)
Might as well play all of the games if you are enjoying them! Plus there are some that I have not seen yet so it is nice to watch including this series!
I also think this game is underrated, when this came out i enjoyed this game so much. Also the guy that was attacked by that weird hand thing at the beginning of the game is actually for multiplayer stuff

Chains of Olympus feels quick, but has a "ok" story, ghost of Sparta is longer and rlly has its moments!
