Rescuing scared mom cat and her three little kittens

- Obviously mother cat was a house cat. I don’t know when they abandoned her. But I’m a little bit sure they abandoned her after pregnancy. She was so scared and didn’t even move to eat the food. After arriving home she felt much more comfortable. Even let me per her little belly. Kittens are roughly 15-17 days old. After 2 months I will start to look for a new home for them, including mommy. So there will be a part2 or 3.

Thankyou for being so kind and caring!! They are safe now!
Super-Kind of you to relocate her family into your home! I assume she has access to a water bowl outside the metal railings? I always think nursing mothers must be thirsty! ♡♡
Yep, the water and food located outside the cage. The reason is the lil rascals 😂 they started to walk and I don’t want them getting wet. Cage never locked but room is closed because she is very protective of her kittens. Whenever my kitty Leo comes in she attacks. So I have to separate them. Also you’re right nursing mamas need much more water.
@@StrayPawsofIstanbul Great, thanks. I suppose water or lactose-free milk for mama & eventually kittens. I wonder how kittens wean from mama to eating or drinking on their own. Does mama push them to other foods or do the kittens just see mama eating food or drinking from a bowl and then try it too -- to mimic mommy?
At roughly 30 days they start to eat and drink. But they still need milk at least 30 more days. They usually don’t ween on their own. Mother starts to push away, avoid and even attack them to ween.
@@StrayPawsofIstanbul Wow I never knew that -- thanks, that's interesting. Sounds a little stressful for mama & baby kittens. You can give the babies lactose-free milk then.
@ramrod0209 nope any kind of milk is harmful to kitten’s digestive system. It can give them diarrhea. So instead of milk I always prefer KMR which is Kitten Replacement Milk. Maybe you watch the video which I found 10 days old kittens. They grow up because of KMR. I fed them every 2 hours day and night. Being a kitty mom hard work 😂
their all beautiful
