Nice one Don. Nearly 40 years since I introduced the first "Wrightlines" Quarry Hunslet kits. Never thought I would see the day when such beautiful R-T-R commercially produced models would be available to modellers in this most attractive scale/gauge combination. Good on you Bachmann: keep the models coming.
Excellent review of the new locomotives from Bachmann, and very thorough, too. From the video it looks like the little Hunslet has really fine running qualities. The sound is wonderful. All said, I really want at least one of those. Maybe I can get some extra hours at the clinic. And Don, you did a wonderful job on the entire thing. You sell yourself short as the quality of the video and sound were both right up there with many of the creators I watch and better than a few. Also, your narration was excellent.
Fabulous looking layout, very inspiring, could I ask, please, the corrugated roof building or shelter on the far left of the layout, is this a kit, and if so could I ask who made it please?, or is it what I believe is called scratch built, many thanks again
No mystery there, Nathaniel. I was the chap who actually founded the 7mm Narrow Gauge Association 45 years ago and I was presented by Bachmann with the very first prodution model to leave the factory to recognise that fact. Pictures, etc of the event in Narrow Gauge World magazine number 185.
@@NathanielKempson Thank you Nathaniel - and a bit of a plug here...if you are not a member of the 7mm Narrow Gauge Association, you possibly should be. Visit www.7mmnga.org.uk LOL
