The huge issue with re-colors is that buying them is basically supporting laziness. Blizzard releasing re-colors is basically a way of them telling us "Let's see how little work we have to do for us to turn in profits." And people buying them is a way of the players telling Blizzard "I don't want anything new nor exciting, just give me the same shit in different coating" If they were to release multiple color variations of a new skin all at once then that would be something different, but releasing recolors of successful skins is just lowkey predatory.
Occasional recolors are fine imo. I don't think they intended to release so many recolors though. If you look at the timeline about 3 months after the Microsoft acquisition they started releasing more recolors and having more problems getting skins for new heroes (which is also about how much time it takes to make a skin). I think they just really don't have the skins to release until they get back on schedule.
ngl i liked the ram change. I liked how fast i could burst zarya bubbles. I hope they make a tank that does critical damage to shields again some day, it was really cool imo, just didnt fit ram.
I don’t give af about anything in the game except game balancing, if an event comes out and I like I’ll buy if not, I won’t. Hero balancing is the only things I care about.
My biggest problem with ow2 is the fact that it became an free to play, buy to have skins. I play since 2018 and I'm so used to the essence of hop in, play a few games, earn a loot box, open it and be full of skins that buying an epic skin for 40 bucks (Reais in my country, idk how's the pricing in USD but it's a lot) or buying a battle pass that poorly delivers two or three good skins doesn't make sense and feel like an abuse. I personally didn't, don't and won't ever waste a single coin in this game, we wouldn't need to pay each skin if the game wasn't free to play, and the game didn't need to be free to play if they hadn't abandoned the original Overwatch for a promissed that wasn't even accomplished. If it existed and was a good this ok, but as it is the scale bends to the wrong side, ow2 fixed a lot of problems Original Overwatch had, but, personally, also created a lot of other ones. Just my thoughts... and why we should go back to living in caves hunting and creating fire with rocks.
I think the majority of the dedicated playerbase's gripes with the game never stem from limited time events or skins or battle passes so I don't see how this is something wildly unpopular to say... Balance and game design has always been the core issue with players where the game simply stopped feeling fun. The reason people complain about the shop and battle passes is that we feel insulted that they keep the game in a shitty state and just use it as a platform to squeeze money out of the community.
Junkenstein’s Lab was literally just stomps every game so you didn’t miss much. I played 15 games and all but one of them were sweeps.
I agree with everything, except the "not trying out new gamemodes" thing. I love competitve, its what I play mostly, but sometimes you need a break.

My only problem with reskins is that they should be cheaper if you own the original imo but i agree with you on everything
people dont like hazards design? Also I kindve like how his voice sounds, its refreshing from all the overly deep voices the tanks have
Pummel change was a ram buff and made him way more fun imo. Blowing up zarya was amazing
10 out of 10 video keep going
Btw i agree with everything
