Cheers Tom - it definitely takes some work! I just try to find as may ways as I can to make it efficient and scalable as possible... but it's still a load of work. Keep putting the videos out - they're good.... and I love that Tele Deluxe!

Great stuff. My opinion this was their masterpiece. Solo playing from Noel and of course weller on the album version was mega. Gas panic ( live version) was also good lead playing from Noel

Noel is nowhere near as simplistic a guitarist as people make him out to be (Yes I know Paul Weller wrote quite a bit of the solo but the beginning part of it is all Noel, as is "that" riff). Fantastic video man, you are one talented guy? Can I put in a request for the following?:

Question on this one. Acoustic site back a fair way in mix as the song gets going - so hard to hear. Does the strumming pattern stay pretty much exactly the same (90% of the song) even in the heavier parts ?

Ha! Sorry about that. This was a couple of years ago and I think at the time I decided it would have been confusing to move the guitars around. I only ever see them on a big screen so it's fine for me... but if you are on a phone then I'm defo sorry! Blame Noel for having so many guitars on the track!

Interesting fact: Paul Weller performed lead guitar on this.
He performed some of the lead guitar. I listened to the multitrack to do this and you hear all of his solo - even the bits that they didn't use. It's incredibly rough, free, aggressive playing. So different from Noel! But there is a mix between the 2 of them on there. It's great!
