I loved Kirk's and Spock's chemistry in the movie. And I'm okay with Spock/Uhura because 1) Spock and Kirk are so early in their relationship that I don't think their feelings could already be deep enough to be more than friends, and 2) I think of Spock and Kirk's relationship as deeper than even romantic love, like they are two halves of a whole and no other relationship could interfere with that, not even a romantic/sexual relationship with another person. Anyway, love the vid!

It's just me, but I've always loved ST 2009 because it felt like a 'so it begins'. That gorgeous glimpse into the future of Spock and Kirk's relationship, what an amazing team they would grow to be, what wonderful lifelong friends they would become. It made me cry realizing it was just the tip of the iceberg of what a dynamic duo they were and are. :') This video makes me adore TOS, ST 2009 and STID so much, thank you.
Re-visiting this vid after awhile. It's even more beautiful and poignant the more I watch it.

I’m in love with the friendship of Kirk and Spock, and their individual stories and the way they’ve intertwined have been so wonderfully displayed here. Awesome vid! I personally don't love it when you use black fade out when shifting between many short clips, because it makes me feel a bit epleptic, so to speak. It feels a little tiresome to watch, so I guess I would have preferred either a different fade out, or longer clips, but thats just my personal preference. Great song, great clips you chose, and really nice telling of the story! I felt I totally got it, and really nice emotions running through this. Awesome vid!
