Depression is a physical condition, so having a serious conversation with your physician is a good starting point. From a psychological point of view, one of the best pieces of advice I ever received about high anxiety came from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) practitioner. He said two words that have stuck in my mind to this day: ‘Hakuna matata’.
