- Today I'll be playing 7 terrible Scratch games I made back in 2013.
From awful Mario clones to strange games made for my Dad, there's a lot to uncover.
I used to make lots of Scratch projects and did so for quite a long time, however today I'll be looking at some of the oldest (and cringiest) ones of the lot. You're lucky I'm willing to share some of these...
I'm trying out a new video style here and I'm hoping to do more in a similar format (likely on more old Scratch or Nintendo stuff), so any feedback on the editing/style would be appreciated!

I swear people making 3-5 'sequels' to one of the first games they made is a really common thing on here. And of course you have to have the random google images miked in with ms paint graphics. The 'beginner Scratch project art style' I call it.
Anyway when's the someone's world speedrun gonna happen?
I also made a whole bunch of sequels to that drawing project (even more than Someone's World), so you're definitely right about that. It's probably because when you're younger, you have a lot more motivation and don't really care about the quality of the stuff you make - you just have fun doing it.
As for the speedrun, I'll likely do it in 2014. (Honestly though, speedrunning old Scratch games could be fun, but probably with slightly newer games rather than these ones if I ever do it.)

10:10 So that's the first Artdraw? I remember you telling about it back in the Artdraw collaboration era and how its title included your name. Fun to see what it was like. Where it started.
Yup, that's one of the earliest versions of Artdraw and the title did include my name (as with many of my old projects lol). It's actually a sequel to another drawing project I made, but I've lost the .sb file for it but it wasn't too different from this, just a different UI I think

What a coincidence, as I too used to have an Original Character that's just a green version of a Mario block. Although I never really used her for anything. still, neat coincidence

The most complex part of it is that it has working world stuff that moves I'm not even able to think of a way to make it non glitchy

I gave gravity to my character :D my daughter played it and found that bug within the first 10 seconds
from that point on... that bug became the main game feature XD to this day, its the ONLY reason anyone would play that game

I made one total garbage Scratch game in 2014-ish, then made some slightly less bad ones more recently
I'm working on a "Omega Clovey" boss fight game in Scratch and I wonder how will I react to it in the future

I’ve found his videos in 2017/18, because I was looking for a “flipnote tutorial”
That tutorial was from 2013, I comment on his video in 2019.
He has a friends channel, that didn’t upload to often like a vid a month,
He’s friends channel sometimes both drawn together, on a live stream.
I started with a basic jump where you just teleport up to gravity, infinite jumping, smooth jumping,dashing and cheat codes in 2 months by following tutorials.
Still better than what i can do today

Check the sounds in FLY TANK and check if you said "see if" or "Steve"

But because I couldn't code I just followed the tutorials, I think you just push the left and right keys to move 1 inch and you couldn't jump you just push up or down and you go up and down, I am pretty sure I used blue sky

Why are you playing them in scratch 2.0? You could just open them in scratch 3.0, which may run better, or worse.
Because moving to Scratch 3.0 can sometimes break things during the conversion of the .sb2 format to the .sb3
