That epic moment when you watch this movie in 3D, and you fly inside of the arcade game. The things goes from a flat, normal screen to a awesome 3D world. Stunning movie. Epic.
yp i feel you on that onebrvu, i'm an 83 kid so naturally i grew up around the atari, sega, nintendo haha commordore 64 even as old as the amstrad! boulderdash + dynamite dan etc....memories
I can't relate exactly. I was born 99. But my older siblings definitely got me into everything of their generations before me. We still have our atari. I love this music also
Better than Frozen. I dont care how good the songs are in frozen, this movie was stuffed with likable characters, hidden eastereggs, a great soundtrack, and not to mention MULTIPLE emotion heavy scenes compared to the 1 scene that wasnt very emotional in Frozen. A better story, well done product placement and a great outcome.
completely agree. Frozen felt forced. like they were trying to line-up all the mechanics of what makes a critically acclaimed movie on paper while attempting to appease the feminist contingents that have taken issue with disney in the past. Wreck it Ralph felt like the writers, producers, directors, actors and composers were working together to belt out the best story that they possibly could, they created a wonderful world. and populated it with some great characters, then led it with honestly two of the best characters in the entire disney canon. Ralph and Vanellope are wonderful, empathetic and complex, and that's just part of why this movie is so fantastic.
2:40 is what really gets me man. Everything is back to normal and Ralph goes back to his game after he saves Sugar Rush and now takes pride in being a bad guy.
I remember watching Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon shows and just enjoying life. And movies like Rio were coming out for the first time, seeing ice age 4, even inside out is starting to become a memory. Going to Chuck e Cheese in the evening and coming out at sunset, playing on my wii with my dad...sorry I just really had to get all this off mind
I was kind of upset they didn’t use the same soundtrack in Ralph breaks the internet...and surprisingly I didn’t like that one as much. I really hope they make a wreck it Ralph 3 and not just because I want another movie but because they should really try again with a 3rd one. They barely showed all the other characters and it made me upset to see vanellope leave. The movie just didn’t feel right honestly.
@@sublife3262 The main reason why some movies are better off as just... themselves. If you don't have a bright idea, which is okay, then don't make it into a sequel. It's upsetting that the second movie wasn't as good as this one. Decent, sure, but it just doesn't have the same loveable vibe in it.
this movie appealed to my inner child, I was born in 1983...this movie brought back memories from the cameos of characters I grew up playing...this song gave me chills and instantly takes me back to my childhood in tears. ..good stuff!!
I'm glad I'm not the only 80's kid who was affected by this damn film. This song reminds me of the old Amiga 500 and Dizzy the egg somehow. Great song.
This movie brought back sooo many memories from my childhood from the first game console that only had ping pong and breakout that you had to hook up VHF and UHF ON TOP OF YOUR BLACK AND WHITE TV.All The way too today's consoles. I am a old gamer still.i loved this movie, and ready player one, they take me back to the 70s.They make me pull out all the games I STILL HAVE THAT STILL WORK TODAY! I will be a gamer till my game is over!😀
A fantastic movie! Grew up playing videogames, and this movie did an excellent job capturing the spirit of a gamer. Excellent movie, characters, animation, story, voice acting, and of course music! Instantly became one of my favorite films of all time!
I love too much this movie, this made my inner child too happy, I love the characters too much in this, I will never forget: "I'm bad and that's good, I will never be good and that's not bad, because there's no one I rather be THAN ME." ... This is perfect!!! Wreck it Ralph is one of my fav all time movies, I cry in happiness every time I see it. I think this movie deserved the oscar.
I love how they asked Adam of Owl City to write the title song and I am so happy that they've kept a significantly iconic 8bit sound for their soundtrack. It's so uplifting and inspiring
I'm loving this particular moment during lockdown conoravirus right now I would like to recommend hear more these different types of songs from the same artist constantly
I’m on a serious Sugar Rush kick at the moment, thinking of so many ways it can be realized and reimagined, and it just led me back to wanting to watch this movie again. This theme/music is just wonderful, I don’t really know how to interpret this specifically, but there’s something about it that feels hopeful and beautiful. The kinda techno/“bew bew bew” bits are simply icing on the cake, it’s giving me that tearing up lump in my throat, a happy cry almost. As someone who also wishes to do film/film related things, I can picture some scenes and moments from ideas I’ve had that would fit this song completely, endings of hope, a bright future, and appreciating a fallen hero/sacrifice with the emotional impact he/she may have had on the cast. With a new appreciation for this movie, this rewatch is going to be amazing, and once again, Disney never fails to make the viewer (and in this case listener) shed a tear.
This is a lovely remix, OP. Thanks for putting it together. The original gave me chills when I was watching the movie and it's good that someone actually made an effort to release a longer version of it. And all y'all are right. Wreck-It-Ralph definitely should've won that Oscar
My favorite movie of 2012, and I LOVED its theme. It definitely deserved an extended version than the one on the soundtrack. Much thanks for making this remix.
Hearing this soundtrack after so many years got me emotional, its so nostalgic, it makes me feel like anything is possible, and that I can do anything, its beautiful. This will always be my favourite movie.
I think this might be my favorite Disney movie actually after watching it again for my 10th time. Frozen was really good too. It might be a tie for me. I also really like Tangled and the rest of the Disney movies. Toy Story is my favorite Disney movie of the 90's.
I think this is better than frozen, frozen was great and all but Wreck it Ralph and the second movie had a better storyline, better tunes, loveable characters and actually gave me memories. Frozen was just some princess story which wasn’t that interesting.
So much love for this music gem. This is a song that perfectly describes the "video games", but it is also a bit sad, imbued with nostalgia for the past, the old arcades, the '80 and our youth. An exceptional mix of past and future. Great job, Henry Jackman!
Excluding Pixar films there are not many Disney films I can sit through. (I certainly can't sit through Frozen and can't believe it's getting a sequel just so it can pander to the 5 yo girl audience.) This is one of my favourite Disney films, it caters for all ages, there's something that appeals to everyone whether male female, young or old. Love it :) Also it's the only film that makes me get dust in the corner of my eye at the end.
This movie had a lot of heart. Too bad it didn't do well at the box office. Sequels would have been very VERY interesting. If it had been released like in the 90's, it'd might have done the same effect as Toy Story to audience. But because today we're kinda used to great movies, it felt ordinary for many people. But not to me. This is one of those well-written and well-directed movies of 2010 and on, just like How To Train Your Dragon, Frozen, Tangled, Kung Fu Panda, etc.
got to see this the other night and i be damn if i didn't cry....and fall in love with this movie...i wanted to see this again as soon as it ended....haven't had that feeling since scott pilgrim back in 2010
this theme song is so simple and sweet, I love it! it makes me think of good memories and awesome games, and...wow. I just am at a loss for words to what this movie was for me.
Thank you very much Slypheren! The remix you've made are so good, i've been passed a great time looking for a extended version of the original music and i found it here! I'm so glad! Thank you!
I thought Wreck it ralph was a great movie. with good comedy, a blast to the past, humor, graphics, everything. and i really love your remix of this song ! awesome job!
Somehow reminds me of playing Dizzy the egg on my old Amiga 500 back in the late 80's/early 90's. Brilliant nostalgic piece of music that suits the movie so well.
Let just hope that, as for once they made not only a good movie but a really awesome one about videogames (only 20 years of waiting for this to happen, yay ! ), they'll be smart enough to indeed put as much work in a potential sequel as they did on this film. WIR sure deserves it.
Now that the sequel is confirmed, PLEASE DISNEY ALLOW MARIO TO BE IN IT Mr. Videogame, the most known and epic character in videogames HAS TO BE IN SUCH AN EPIC FILM
You know how one special song, movie, or both are tied to people and/a place? Well this movie and its soundtrack are. Me and my cousin watched this together when we were just 12 and 13 back in 2012 at our lake house in New Hampshire, which is a very special place to me.
One of Disney's more underrated films.
You got that right. I LOVE this movie, it mixes my 2 favorite things together, video games and movies!
