Great Russian writer & dramatist Anton Chekhov depicted the then Russian society and its inner outburst against the evil power in this story " Ward No. 6" . The story revolves around a mental asylum where patients trying to come out from this dark space but in vain. The town's doctor, intelligent and passionate, due to his inactivity to make difference in life of the patients, slowly put himself into the fate of those in the ward and finds himself as a victim.
