I love watching your videos! I’m interested in the free class. I want to make sure I don’t miss it!
Great! Thanks so you need to get on my email list for this! 😊
Absolutely loved this video.
I just love that ‘big shapes’ square one you did last time with the black fine squiggle in the middle. Looking forward to next instalment. I did Louise Fletcher’s Find your Joy course online which is similar to what you did in this video only I made a really good mistake! I gessoed the A1 sheet AFTER I taped it into 6 instead of before. I had no idea where the edges were so I really let go! I remember because I used similar colours to yours - Prussian blue and yellow ochre! Thanks for sharing, Jill R 🇬🇧
You are very welcome! I love her process!
Loving watching this, beautiful colours, can't wait to see the next video as I enjoy your previous one😊
Loving the colour palette Michelle. My next project, thank you 😊
Love how you REALLY scrub the paint around with the brush. Are the bristles really stiff on that thing? The Shapers are so cool too for an entirely different look!!
Thanks Michele! 😊👍
You are very welcome!
Very helpful! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
New at all this, so appreciative of the technical info you included
Love your videos! Love start to finish either in one video or in parts! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much! Much more to come!
Excellent
Thanks!😊
Greetings from Würzburg Germany!
Welcome! So nice to see from other parts of the globe connect here on my channel!
Thank you for another great and informative video! Can you explain the reasoning behind the pencil marks at the start? Do they show in the final piece or is it more about getting loose and breaking the page?
Yes, exactly!
Can you show us the technique used by Gerard Richter. Is it a squeezy that he uses??
I’m not sure. I will look into that😊
I looked into his technique and he was one of the first to use this method of applying paint. I do use different tools to apply layers to my journal or other substrates and will need something larger for canvases. I think artists tend to use these tools in different ways. I will be sharing this technique in the near future so stay tuned!
It looks like it would be easier if you taped your piece to the table.
Yes! That might work better. Thanks for the tip.
@@micheleholdenart to make it easier you could tape it to a piece of hardboard that is easy too clean or a piece of chipboard that is inexpensive. You can pick it up to change direction and easily move it away to dry while working in the next one.
The link does not work
Apologies! I will check that out.
I did a test email and it seems to be working. ?
shorter videos are easier to watch & remember what i've watched.
Link to the freebie isn’t working on my end.
I think I fixed it. Please try again and let me know. 😀
