It's not a coincidence that smaller countries that gets gas from Nigeria appear to have more stable power supply. Nigerian politicians refused to decentralize the economy into smaller units for managerial efficiency. It is in the interest of certain part of the country to run Nigeria as a huge, inefficient system. That is the only way they can control Nigeria. But overcentralizing a big unit like Nigeria creates economic bottle-neck, and strangles progress. Our leadership do not give damn. Overcentralized structure makes it easy for them to steal millions of dollars. Decentralizing Nigeria into smaller units would limit and reduce the amount they can steal

Imagine Nigeria supplies electricity to neighboring countries Benin Republic, Niger Republic, Togo and four West African countries, including Burkina Faso and Gas to other Countries in Africa and outside. It’s just our bad political system and clueless and corrupt leaders! If only Nigerian government will use the money we generate from selling Gas to other countries to build the country, things would have been better. Hopefully things will start turning around someday.
So, they are telling us that Nigeria is our first source of Gas Supply, mmm problem dey.
So, Ghana where we dey go, front or back???

We produce gas. What do you think Ghana Gas does?? But the gas is used to power plants in the Western Region. The Nigerian Gas is used to power plants in Tema.
