The first Twilight is unironically good- it actually has a vision, a distinct color grading and design, whereas the others are very mass-markety and lose some of their charm. The soundtrack is iconic for the whole series though!

I think you’d really enjoy the graphic novel Fangs by Sarah Anderson if you haven’t already read it. It’s a light read with a spooky vibe just because it involves a love story between a vampire and werewolf. I am also going to read A Dowry of Blood by S.T Gibson this fall and I’m excited for it!
Honestly I'm sad that I missed out on the nostalgic love for twilight. Cause I know if I read that series today at 19 years old I will probably hate it lol
you should maybe try the first movie and go in with the expectation that it's really bad? i forced my roommate to watch it with me (it was her first time seeing it) last november and she really enjoyed the movie and started reading the book soon after! you still might hate it... but i feel like everyone should see the movie at least once lol
