Electroluminescence EL testing, is a diagnostic technique used to evaluate the quality and performance of solar panels or photovoltaic (PV) modules. This testing method involves capturing EL images of the solar cells within a module while they are operating under reverse-bias conditions, finding visual micro cracks and other defects.
