Both are wonderful violins but in the case you are searching for an upgrade you should get the artist. In case you want to start and you want to make sure that you have quality take the concert.
Hey, looking just for fun. But I really want to upgrade my £30 one as the pegs keep slipping out and require me to tune it halfway through my practice. Which is annoying, to say the least. I am starting to lose my nerve with the tuning too, as my A string broke and I am freaking out that it will break again. The less I need to tune with the pegs the better, haha! What would you recommend, please? Do you have any advice? I would be super grateful! I've only practiced 3 months worth so I am definitely a beginner-beginner. I really enjoyed both of these instruments' sounds, but I don't really feel educated enough to make a real choice, what with the pricetag and everything. If i buy something, I want something that will last for years. I apologise for the essay, haha! Thank you! 😊
For a cheaper shorter term solution, you can take it to a luthier or a music shop and they probably will be able to do something with the pegs to make it not slip, or I think there's a video on Fiddlershop about slipping pegs. You can also change your strings, sounds like you have cheap chinese metal strings. D'addario Prelude and Pirastro Tonica are decent cheap strings
@@threesidedtriangle1798 Oh, it is ok now. Thank you for the reply :) I was given a new instrument for Christmas and it's a world of difference :) It was fine with the chinese strings, the problem arose when I changed them into better strings. X) Ironically enough X) Thanks a lot, though :D I really appreciate the tip :D
Great...Hai fiddlerman, i want to upgrade my violin. Presently I'm using a " sky vn512" violin. Can you suggest a good violin from your shop? Which cost around 2000$?
Hi there! Fiddlerman highly recommends the Ming Jiang Zhu 905 violin, in that price range. Here is a link: fiddlershop.com/products/ming-jiang-zhu-905-violin . Thanks for asking :)
Between the two, in terms of sound, I prefer the Concert. But in terms of physical aesthetic, I prefer the Artist.
Is it possible to get a comparison of the Concert Deluxe and the Artist?
If you cant decide take em both

Artist has much bettet and clearer sound in the lower register.
