I saw this movie at the theatre in 1989 with my true love. I couldn't deal with the relationship at the time and I drove her away. This song and movie haunts me to this very day. I wish that I could turn back time.
As a pilot, I loved this film. As an Aussie, I came back to look for it after three American heroes died yesterday when their C130 Hercules crashed whilst fighting the bushfires in my country. Vale, gentlemen. Rest in peace.

I really liked this movie and not because I was a pilot, of much smaller aircraft. But because it combined drama, romance, and adventure. With a big plus, The Platters. One of the best loved singing groups of all times.
My dad told me "listen to this song, it's truly beautiful and you will like it" I cried at the first notes, my dad too. So... I hope to dance a slow With him if I'm getting married one day... I love you dad. ❤
We are not meant to know know but such a miracle as life must have a purpose than being mere mortals...as such I rather expect my mob that have moved on to put the kettle on when its my turn.....as I still do for them now, relishing the memories and connection with their spiritual chemistry.... we have to play till the full time whistle but sometimes I am sure I am not alone ..
@mr22ron Always was released in December '89, Ghost in July '90. And yes, Always is a better movie, but it was not made for the average moviegoer, at least not in the "romance" department. Steven Spielberg has a mastery of childhood sentiment but is often awkward when it comes to adult emotions. Ghost was made for box-office and used all recipes from romance pulps, so no wonder it made money (+ $500 millions) in spite of bad acting by Swayze and Demi (not that demi can act in any other way ;))
