    Great video. My 11 ear old has been inconsistent with placement on the rubber and I think this will help him see that it matters.

      Glad to hear it! Learning who you are as a pitcher - and what you do and dont do well - is one of the biggest keys to performing well over a long period of time. Hopefully this is one little factor that help your son get there faster.

    Just curious...so why don’t pitchers alter where they stand on the rubber based on the type of hitter they are facing. Wouldn’t that give them more flexibility with how they want to work the zone?

      Riverplacedad1 that’s a reasonable question and I’m not sure I have a great answer except that A, hitters would definitely notice it and have some idea why you chose to do that, and B, it would make your “set point” so to speak change, which might not be ideal with concern to breaking pitches now having to start in different locations to end up in the same end locations as when you stood in a different spot.
