Two of my closest friends and I went to Denmark for a week! We spent most of our time in Copenhagen and then did a day trip to Malmö, Sweden.
Between debating whether or not the Little Mermaid had legs and making our way through the creepy museum of Malmöhus Slott (Malmö Castle), we spent a lot of time hanging out in parks, walking the city, and eating a lot of smørrebrød!

Welcome to Sweden! Although Malmö/Skåne region used to be Danish so it has some Danish looking parts. Next time go to more of Sweden. :P

It was really nice! Though I'd like to visit other Swedish cities such as Stockholm one day :D

I have such a soft spot for Malmö and Copenhagen as they were the first Scandi cities I’d been to. It was nice to see your video of them!

I'd love to go back and visit other parts of Scandinavia! It's just such a trek from North America :/ Thanks for watching! :D

In terms of its structure (especially with verb conjugations), Modern English is close to Danish. The pronunciations of both English and Danish are very different from their written forms and their verb conjugations are similar and also simple. But unlike English, Danish has grammatical genders.

I have found that too as I'm studying :D In fact, Danish is a welcome change to complicated Russian grammar :p

Yes, Danish grammar is easy although pronunciations of Danish can be very hard. But I agree that Russian has a very complicated grammar. I often wonder why languages have to be hard. It can discourage a person from learning them.

Any plans to visit the Netherlands to see how far Afrikaans can get you? would be awesome to see that :)

That is an AWESOME idea for a video! There are no immediate plans since I start school again tomorrow (boo!), but who knows what post-April holds? :D

That just means your Afrikaans will only be better by the time you get to the Netherlands, really looking forward to the video if you get a chance to go over there :)
