Thank you! I rode well in the lcq. So I’m happy with that. Weird year for me. Worst of my “career” but I’m having fun and trying to share it with everyone! I’ll have riding footage next week. I didn’t have anyone in the stands at this one who could do it :/
Ya the weather in NE sucks, never know what your going to get, look a rider who fixes his own stuff love it. Looked good in LCQ, top 6 just stayed that way the last few laps, was so easy to follow you with the pick outfit, good luck next week. Will you be racing outdoors this season?
The talent is not actually as close as the fast lap times suggest (we call it a stacked field). The bikes got faster (so not many if any slow tricky sections), and the main gate guys pretty much have the tracks wired. They have been racing basically the same track since rhythm sections (which are designed to keep everybody the same speed.), and they have them wired. Myself? I don't want to see the most talented lose their spirit (Chase, Ken, Eli), because if they are off .5 seconds they get a 5th that destroys the confidence they may have had. I think that is evil. Jett and Haiden have not had their spirit hurt yet, but it really starts happening in the 450's----where everybody is the same damn speed. The rest of them who have won championships, are nearly mental basket cases. "Tracks of equality" tend to destroy the spirit of the most talented, but 8th place loves it. Yep----evil indeed.
NOTE! "Offset triple clamps": I know I would have crashed less if I would have understood "front wheel Rake and Trail" when I was racing/riding. Lately, I picked up a suspension book from "Race Tech suspension bible", written by Paul Thede, and read it several times until I got it. Now I see pros crashing because they had no trail in the sand or the face of a jump, and trusted the wheel to self center, and it didn't. Jett is an example at about the 3rd or 4th SX this year (dry track). He hit the face of the last jump of a rhythm before a corner, and was very far forward and just relaxing at the bars. But the face of the jump can put the trail to "negative", and the bars have to be held straight (like whoops too). He trusted it to track straight up the face, but the wheel turned left a bit, and off the track he went. (got back going quickly). If you want to understand better what your front end is doing with rake and trail, that book will help you crash less I am sure,---even pros. Doug in Michigan
Almost there our Guy!!!!!! Bike is amazing Bro.. If u ever need a mechanic or crew hmu..😂🤣 Seriously though don’t make me hunt u down and show u how it’s done ok!😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Yea u probably don’t want that..😳 Keep positive!!
It wasn’t so much the fork height that I didn’t like, I was not feeling good with the front raked out. Having them flush, would have made it feel more flush and gave me less front end traction which is what I felt I had zero of, with the 24’s
Killing it with the videos and all the feedback, would be cool if you show some riding in the videos. Can’t your buddies there get some kips to through in the vloggs!?
No riding footage of homie?? I waited and waited. First time ive seen this channel. Idk i like riding but also the behind the scenes. But to much talking. Good luck tho in the future.
I don’t have a filmer so it’s hard for me to find riding footage. I have one for Nashville this coming weekend. Check out next race vlog and see if it’s better.
@@JustinStarlingMotocross for sure. No I still dig the channel will be back to watch. I like the behind the scenes I just know you prob rip. Would love to see it!!!

The track looked amazing for the rain it got Friday. The start in the LCQ from the first gate was pretty good. 3x the entries

The 450 field is stacked. Lots of fast guys. Seen you on peacock. You're bike looks sweet.

This is why I love a mud race that is just muddy enough so nobody can jump everything. We get to see who has the most talent.

Bummer to hear the 24mms took you backward. Did you try them any other way than the forks being flush? Bike looks great!

Hard to get filmers often. I will have one in Nashville!
