Thanks to Violin, she explains one from many cultures in Indonesia. Indonesia has so many cultures, ethnicities, even It has more than 700 languages, and more than seventeen thousand Islands, so I think what she mentions is representative from Java Island. CMIIW 😇
I took some classes at university about Indonesia and one thing that stuck to me was that you have to belong to one of the 5 main religions (besides the native believe about nature spirits) and that people are even judged differently according to their religion. So e.g. a Muslim could be judged by Sharia law whereas a Christian wouldn't. First off: is that true? And second: does that also apply to foreigners, so would e.g. a Muslim tourist that commited a crime be judged differently than a Christian tourist for the same crime based on their religions?
@@hmvollbanane1259 There are many types of laws in Indonesia. If someone commits a crime (e.g., murder, theft, etc.), they will be judged using criminal law regardless of the suspect's religion. Aceh is the only province that officially practices Sharia law because Aceh is a special autonomous province, and Islam in Indonesia spreads from there. Religious laws are implemented for matters such as marriage, inheritance, etc., so each religion has its own rules for them. Additionally, mocking other religions is prohibited due to the blasphemy law. For the second question I think its same, i am not sure. I am not a law student major, so this is based on my current knowledge. CMIIW

When plastic was still not invented, the littering culture was basically a norm, and still not become a massive problem since its mostly organic materials. But then plastic suddenly became a common material used for most things after the ww2 but people still have lack of education about littering (especially people from newly-independent countries), so suddenly it becomes a major problem because unlike organic materials, plastics will never be decomposed by nature. The solution is to either educating the masses about not littering while adding more trash cans on every corner of the street, or simply making biodegradable plastics more common... but the latter will gives us another problem, microplastics.

I'm Vietnamese and I have never ever heard that schools forbid students to wear sth colorful. That's not true, especially shoes. I live in the countryside and my friends love trying to paint or draw on their shoes to make it more colorful so it will be unique. What you said to foreigners might make them think that we are controlled too much and it's not right
The Vietnam one was not true, people can still wearing dresses or croptop when they hanging out as long as they are not too short that others can see your private part of ur body like breast,... Even in the formal situations we can wear dress that below knee long with dark color. Btw, schools in general dont criticize your shoes colors, they do that to your hair color instead. I afraid that the school of the girl in video is the odd shitty one (you can anonymously complain about those rules in the social media and people will agree with you), also the teacher act will get some negative feedback if their parents know 🙂
Yes! In Ho Chi Minh city and Dong Nai where I am living in, people can were any thing. Nowadays, young people like wearing dresses, croptops,.... and it's ok.
In Vietnam I would say wearing croptops and shorts is still completely fine. I think the Vietnamese girl is just emphasizing people in the countryside are not as open-minded as people in some big cities, so they tend to judge people the way they dress. One thing about taking pictures and posting on the Internet; it happens when people consider your clothes are too reaveling. Revealing here means you are on the street and wear a pairs of shorts with the length just a little longer or around your butt, tops that show half of your breast, or dresses showing half of your back. In some worse cases, wearing bikinis at the beach is considered awkward, some not-very-polite men will judge, laugh, catcall, and take pictures. But don't be afraid to come to Vietnam. You can dress whatever you want honestly. Croptops, off shoulder tops, skirts, thigh-length shorts, body dresses are totally fine.
While Indonesian politicians "pointing" when they angered, i think pointing considered unpolite long long long time ago specifically to javanese ethnic only, no more relevant today
In Vietnam, it's okay for foreigners to wear more revealing clothes, we know it's super hot, but especially you shouldn't do that in temples, pagodas,... I think people still judge you with short clothes anyways, so no need to care, wear what you want or what you feel comfortable:). In younger generations, we tend to be fine with that, we wear tank tops, shorts, skirts & leggings on streets more usually (but many local men (in older generations) are often shirtless), but I rarely see women go out without bra (yet it's not illegal to not wearing bra).
Lauren and Andrea in a video is wholesome , and I agree with the Vietnam 🇻🇳 lady about the revealing clothes , for me these kind of clothes only when you go to the beach
People shouldn't be afraid to wear what they want in public so long as it's suitable for the occasion. I don't care about religion much but if I were to go into a religious site I'd wear regular clothes. At the beach and in the comfort of my home? I'll wear whatever I want. Going out to eat or a mall? Shorts and revealing tops are whatever.
@@thevannmannAgree people shouldnt be scared of wearing what they want but i feel like again its also where you're going. If its a religious site of course you need to wear something modest and be respectful. Also, always listen to the locals.
@@thevannmann Asian countries still have Manners and politeness, and we are scared if we do bad things, What do people think about our family? Most Asian countries live next to each other unlike Europe, where neighbors don't even know each other, That's why we need society to make a better society. Look where society doesn't work, even some European countries still have issues about gender, abortion, lgbt, etc. That's why we don't do whatever we want.
@@cipgendonz811 And that’s part of why most Asian countries are poorer and less developed. Individualism and open mindedness leads to higher standards of living. The top human developed countries are pretty much all advanced, less conservative Western democracies.

To say that Westerns and Easterns are similar is a big contradictory. Do not generalize what Eastern and Western look like or feel like. It is quite outdated.
well, in Indonesia, pointing your index finger to someone is not polite (with your RIGHT HAND FINGER), but... it would be 1000 more worst if you pointing your LEFT HAND INDEX FINGER. it multiplied x100 times worst. 🤣 edit : to foreigners, people would ignore it if you do it, some might remind you to not do that, if you are indonesian, well, you are asking for a fight, physically.
In Brazil, in the old center of São Paulo, for example, in addition to other cities as well, unfortunately there are few places to throw garbage and so it may not be as clean there, especially with people living on the streets who unfortunately have to live there. Note: Honestly, for me, I watch one side with eastern and western girls, because many westerners find asian people very similar to each other, maybe people watch the channel's videos more to see western girls, because at least for me, they are different each other, unlike oriental girls who are more similar to each other.

1. Of course you’re not supposed to litter everywhere, but the Japanese are known to follow this strictly even when they’re abroad. Unfortunately Indonesia is actually one of the world’s largest waste contributors 😂 Our people still have a long way to go when it comes to environmental issues. 2. Like what Violin said, there are many different ethnic groups in Indonesia, each with its own rules. Where I’m from it’s OK to point with index finger, and I also use my left hand a lot, which some Indonesians find impolite. I do try to be mindful when I’m in an unfamiliar setting. 3. Asking girls “how much” is just deplorable anywhere in the world. Only the worst of men would do this. 4. I understand not drinking from bottle as well, as it is the same in Indonesia. To be more specific, it doesn’t apply to drinking water from your own flask, which is OK. It’s more like drinking from soda bottles, when you’re supposed to pour it into a glass first. 5. Dressing modestly when visiting houses of worship is just common sense everywhere in the world. Vietnamese are not even that conservative among Asians, it’s all about the place and occasion. For example, even in the more conservative parts of Indonesia you will see people wearing shorts at the beach and that’s acceptable. But yeah, those skirts worn by Japanese schoolgirls are just unbelievably short by any standards!😂

Croptops, off shoulder tops, skirts, thigh-length shorts, body dresses are totally fine.
chiquitas 🤏
Eu amo Ana linda❤️🇧🇷❤️👏🏻
British people are rally polite but when come to ''swearing'' thet are the best in the world 😂😂😂
Do not take a bath at night in Indonesia.
Nor whistle at night
While Indonesian politicians "pointing" when they angered, i think pointing considered unpolite long long long time ago specifically to javanese ethnic only, no more relevant today
The Thailand girl reminds me of Engfa Waraha ❤
In Vietnam, it's okay for foreigners to wear more revealing clothes, we know it's super hot, but especially you shouldn't do that in temples, pagodas,... I think people still judge you with short clothes anyways, so no need to care, wear what you want or what you feel comfortable:). In younger generations, we tend to be fine with that, we wear tank tops, shorts, skirts & leggings on streets more usually (but many local men (in older generations) are often shirtless), but I rarely see women go out without bra (yet it's not illegal to not wearing bra).
Ana,Andreia and the Serbian Girl are a Power Trio.
In Germany we are told not to point at clothed people with naked fingers. 😁 ☺️
@@thevannmannand you will get results quickly to understand what development and civilization are. I think you will understand that you were wrong in just the next 5-10😂 years.
To say that Westerns and Easterns are similar is a big contradictory. Do not generalize what Eastern and Western look like or feel like. It is quite outdated.
THE CORRECT THING you shouldn't do in Indonesia is :
Never call someone (stranger or older) with their name. But use Pronouncements before their name.
Ana and Andrea looks like sisters 😂
Where malaysia? :)
well, in Indonesia, pointing your index finger to someone is not polite (with your RIGHT HAND FINGER),
but... it would be 1000 more worst if you pointing your LEFT HAND INDEX FINGER. it multiplied x100 times worst. 🤣
edit : to foreigners, people would ignore it if you do it, some might remind you to not do that, if you are indonesian, well, you are asking for a fight, physically.
So different people and they are getting along so good. Peace in the Earth
I love these videos!

You're is men that usually if 2L belongs to me and there is a day where i don'T want to wash dishes, i just drink it directly. It's my own saliva so i don't really care cause at the end of the day i brush my teeth and do a wash mouth😌

PICK INDONESIAN GIRLS FROM SUNDANESE AND JAVANESE
OF LANGUAGES ON THE IBERIAN PENINSULA: SPANISH, PORTUGUESE, GALICIAN, VASQUE, ARANESE, CATALAN AND VALENCIAN)
3.Diferencias entre hindi, nepalí, bengalí y dzongkha (DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HINDI, NEPALI, BENGALI AND DZONGKHA)
(CAN ARGENTINIANS, SPANIARDS AND ITALIANS DIFFERENTIATE EACH OTHER?)
CAN CANADIANS, BRITAINS AND AUSTRALIANS DIFFERENTIATE EACH OTHER?)
6.¿Qué tan similares son el español y el español filipino (criollo) (HOW SIMILAR ARE SPANISH AND FILIPINO CREOLE SPANISH)

I need more Asian males representative
Hello, I really liked your video.👍
Also in Indonesia when you give something to other it is a mandatory to use right hand, giving something to others with left hand considered as Rude
tf...
Its Muslim manners, we were teached beating, drinking, give and take using right hand while using lef hand for dirty stuff like wipe your bottom or hood garbage
@@boboboy8189 that is so crazy

Hey what about kurdish language
the mattress on the highway thing is so true of the us lmaooo
There's a UA-cam channel showing highways in Europe, mostly in Spain, France, Germany and The Netherlands. One day in a video, a British comenter said that we in Spain have very clean and well paved highways, and we didn't have trash at the road sides... everybody was oddly confused, and were asking him if he was living in a dumpster, because that's not normal at all here in the continent!!! For example: do5I--jeqfU
and why is allowed japanese men?
japan where is normalized porn
It's funny that Saki tells that people in Japan doesn't use much hand gestures while during the show she gestures nearly all the time xD I'm not gonna lie - I have a soft spot for Saki XD
