It's the single real weakness of his game and Mazzulla should be telling him to stay glued to the perimeter at all times. Sometimes a failed closeout on a 3 in the first half can wind up being the difference in the game. Horford gets a pass for playing drop coverage because he's literally older than Joe Mazzulla.
