Does a lot for the old folks in the family when you keep in touch. My brother spent at least one day a week with my grandpa until he passed , and he passed naturally while spending time with both children. I’m doing the same with my aunt, she’s not old but my brother being with my grandpa up until he passed and becoming an adult gave me a new perspective. I love her so much and I’ll be damned if I don’t spend every moment I can with her
You're stronger than you think my friend. I lost my Dad almost five years ago and my Mama almost six years ago with a brother in between the two. All I can say is stay strong. Let out the tears and don't hold em back because that just brings more sorrow and pain to ourselves. Take an old man's advice and pray that God will take away the pain and move on my friend. You're not ALONE!
Im sorry for your loss of your dad. My daddy died unexpectedly at age 57 in 2011 and to this day it is hard to see pictures or think of him. I was his baby girl and i will forever miss that. Hugs and love
My Mom was dying from cancer, I held her hand and said "Dad is waiting for you. Remember his soft kiss"? She took a deep breath, which she hadn't done in over a week. She past away the next day. My parents, both 67, and truly Loved each other. I miss them each and everyday.❤🙏
Usually I'm never moved by anything... videos, films, songs or anything else. But here I seriously got goosebumps and I started crying like a child. Give all the respect to this man, who despite his situation respects everything and everyone and shows it. I love you man you are strong, your dad is with you❤
😢 I am Vietnamese but when I heard this song I also cried. Time is so cruel it takes away our youth so we should cherish every moment of this life. Jesus once said that life on this earth is temporary and that after we die, our life will be beautiful when we can meet our loved ones in heaven.
I really don't think anyone will ever read this message, I don't even know why I'm writing it, the loved one I lost is myself, I don't know who I'am anymore, I turn 23 in less then a month, and I really don't know anymore, I feel like an empty shell, and endless darkness that leads to nothing, I really don't enjoy anything anymore, everything has lost its colour, the beauty about my own life is gone, the only reason I'm still here is because I don't want to make others sad, even though I'm already sad, I really don't know what how real happiness feels anymore, I don't even remember the happiness I felt as a child, everything is dull, whenever I'm alone I'm in an endless abyss of darkness, whenever I'm with people the abyss is not as dark, but I'm still lonely, so alone. If you read this thanks for reading the words of someone who feels like they are wasting away into nothingness.
Just please remember even if you feel life is like that, just please remember that life is truly precious and it’s a gift that you’ve been given. It’s all about taking what you have and giving it all you got to turn it into something incredible cause it only comes once. Also if you passed away you said people would be sad, man…that means you are loved! What a gift that is too! Don’t give up! Work hard to find what makes you happy and expand that into something that will change you for the better.
Remember someone every day says "how are you doing" tell them. If you dont feel comfortable with them find someone who you do feel comfortable with. And youve been granted at this game of life, remember that.
I hope you feel better and try to focus on positive aspects of your life man try to hone in on somtging that worth being happy for and remember no nether who or what happend or who you are you will always have people who loves you….I learned that the hard way I could’ve been a like you but I found freidns a thay helped me through it for me and it was jokes I hope you find your thing,
As a dad of 2 girls, one your age, seems like your pops did a great job raising you. I almost lost my pops at 23, planned his funeral. Changed my outlook on life and my loved ones. Stay strong young man. Time heals all... keep grinding
I'm 63 loved this song years back always choked me up. Yep thinking of my life at 7 and how great it was. How things have changed. Miss my mom and dad. Worked hard to give us girls a great life. You are an amazing person. God Love You.
i lost my mum and dad and my 2 sisters in a car crash im the only one that survived luckily and now i live with my nan and bamps and watching ur vids make my life so much better i love u bro ur doing goodxxxx
Fr. One of the only things that make me cry are songs abt parents and seeing other people cry. I still can’t cry when I need to unless my mom is with me. Wish I could tho, it relieves a lot of pain
I know this is an old video but it’s beautiful to see the raw emotion I’m sorry for your loss brother. Lukas has another song that makes me cry every time called Funeral you should listen to that song
Promised myself I wouldn’t cry. This song never made me emotional until I heard your outlook. Currently drenched in tears. This just feels human. I lost my grandfather back in 2021. The bond that leaves so suddenly once they’re gone is so devastating. I don’t even wanna think about what will happen when I lose my dad. It hurts, no sugarcoating. Thanks for this one, man. You’re as human as human can get.
coming from a 13 year old that use to love this song when i was 7! I lost my mom when i was 8 after i turned 8 my mom died in october and she always made halloween so fun and her laughing. I cannot no longer remember her laugh or her voice. But she showed me this song when i was 7 and learn to cherish who’s there for you and to remember who gave you the best of you because time will pass by so quick and you will lose friends and family and learn from mistakes and behavior and learning from one another. I am almost 14 and it has been years without her and i have been living with my dad and my brother for 4 or 5 years now and it has never been the same. My moms whole friend group died too. Only 1 of her friends is still alive and talks to us. My brother just turned 18 and might move out next year and my dad met a new women that i dislike. My dad is going on to 43 or 44 years old. I use to be super close best friends with my brother. He use to be bright and happy and when our mom left, he started changing slowly and wore a lot of black, he isn’t emo. He skates and rides bikes now. He has a lot of friends and he smokes and all this stuff. Our nana is still broken from moms death and i am too. She gave us the best childhood and she is who i look up to in the future, i have a bf now and we talk about getting married. I write to her about him and i use to write songs about her. Just one persons death can really affected your perspective on life and change everything. Even if you find someone annoying sometimes or are mean to them. They aren’t gonna stick around forever and that everyone dies at a point in time and that you need to give them your love at most. Because you don’t know how longer they will be there. It can be so unpredictable, life flashes before your eyes. Months go by fast and you lose people who help you find the light. And you will miss their presence. My mother passed away at 37 years old from brain cancer rest in peace to my beautiful momma❤.
I gotta be so real man I’m so happy you have a large amount of following. I’m grateful you exist just keeping it real and having an ACTUAL reaction and relation to music. Not just judging a video but understanding concepts. Much love man❤️🤞🏼
Don't ever feel you need to apologize for having an honest emotional reaction! I feel your pain! I lost my dad when I was 7 & still miss him every day! Ironically, this song was written by Lukas Graham as a way to grieve his dad, who he lost at the age of 23. His dad died suddenly at the age of 61. He was his best friend as well! Lukas Graham's songs are filled with lots of emotional connection. Please check out their songs, "You're not there" (you might wanna check it out in private first), "Love Someone," & "Not a damn thing changed." Honestly, all of their stuff is great! Your pop would be proud! Keep it up! ❤
Definitely cannot listen to this song without getting chills every time and cannot but think about my dad as well. RIP. Life is precious. This song and his other one You’re Not There hit me hard like this one did you. Bless you!
You’re strong bro. You still got plenty of people around you to keep your spirits up, including us, your UA-cam family. I never knew my dad but my mom is still around. I can imagine when her time comes I’ll be crying every day for a long time. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s nothing but positive vibes, even for what you’ve been through. We thank you.
Even when you're crying you still keep this smile. Sorry for your dad but your smile makes us and I hope you , believe in better days. Thanks for this.
I love you brother. Keep that chin held high. I really believe your pops is proud of you and all you do every day. Its absolutely ok to cry. Its part of being a human. We all gotta go one day and that is both harsh and beautiful. But we are all here together bro. And that makes the progression of life more beautiful! You are a great reactor my friend 🙏 ❤
I lost both my aunts before they turned 50 they left behind my 6 cousins and 4 grand kids, we miss them everyday and songs like this are what really bring people's minds to what really matters in life
It’s heartwarming to see someone not hold back their emotions for a UA-cam video and spread such an emotional message about life and how precious it is, I lost my grandfather a few years back now when I was 15 and it still only seems like yesterday he went Your doing amazing though mate keep strong
Much love man.....I love how willing you are to share your whole heart and love and emotion!!! YOU got this .....I am 57....my parents are long gone mom 12-dad 7 years ....YOU are healing yourself along with ALL OF US AS WELL....I LOVE YOU MAN!!!! PEACE TO YOU...AND BIG HUGZZZZ!!!!
Please please please listen to this whole album. Lucas wrote it after his fathers passing and dedicated it to him. The whole album will just floor you emotionally.
I so wish I could have a friend like you... someone who's real to themselves and to others... Just from one video, I can tell you are an amazing man! I know your dad was proud of you!
This really hits hard. I lost my nanny Christmas Eve of 2021. I grew up with her, she was 80 something and the strongest woman I've ever known. She worked a farm when she was sick, she walked and played and fed animals and chopped wood. It was amazing to see her do the stuff she did. When she got cancer, my brain didn't comprehend that she had a high chance of death due to her age. Even as she was sick, she did things for me. She seemed like nothing could take her down. The last time I saw her, she was in a wheelchair and she could barely say anything. I lived three hours away so I couldn't stay. My mom did though, I didn't hear much from her. One day, mom came back. She never said anything for a couple days. She called me and said, "She said she missed you more than the world, she didn't make it." I knew who she was talking about and I instantly dropped my phone. I don't know if I was in shock or if it didn't feel real. I think I stayed like that for a solid minute until I picked my phone up and asked her the details. When we buried her, I carried her casket. It wasn't heavy, but I cried so much I was weak. I grabbed a shovel and threw dirt on her casket as a farewell. I still think about her, and the things she would have loved if not for cancer. She would see a new baby that's arrived in our family. Worst part is, that baby can only know about her through stories and pictures. I wish cancer had never picked nanny, she was the least deserving person. So, to sum it up, thank you nanny for everything, and I'll never forget you.
This song always makes me realize that counting the years never does anything, it makes you hope that people love and live longer and that they can't just be snatched away at any moment. I wanna tell my family that I'm thankful that they were always there even when I felt like they weren't. They stayed with me that whole time and kept doing things to reassure me that they love me. Whenever I'd separate from the party they'd come and make sure I was okay. They always got me something extra because they knew I'd probably want something too. And no matter how hard it was they always made sure I had a bed too sleep in even if it was their's. If I ever turn out ungrateful don't forgive me, because I won't deserve it. You guys have done so much for me to be anything but grateful. Thank you. ❤
Really sorry to hear that he’s watching over you and he will always be there when you need him. Love you brother keep pushing through obstacles in life. 🙏🏼🕊️
I haven’t stopped crying since I played this song today 🥲 lost a lot of people too soon! Rick you and I have a lot of similar feelings and your still young PLZ FOLLOW YOUR 💜
This song was amazing when i first heard it. I didn't know how deep it actually was because I was so young but it always stuck with me and now I am finally really looking into the meaning of this song and I never realized how strong this was for its time.
I lost my mom when I was 13, my dad when I was 11 and my brother abandoned me when I was 15 I was all alone but still made it. You're all stronger than you think it won't get better but we learn to live with it and never forget those who are dear to us. Live and time never stops so neither should we. Live your lives the best you can and respect one another. Condolences for your father and may he rest in peace, you deserve a sub my friend.
Stay strong brother it’s ok to cry! My pops passes when I was 17 I’m now 30 he was the same ago as your pops. He will forever be my hero. Mom just got diagnosed with cancer a few months ago and it’s the hardest time of my life right now. All I can say is take it one day at a time!! I’m praying for your peace and prosperity! Keep sharing your testimony, I needed that cry man…
I prayed for you and your family and I hope you and your family live a good rest of yours and there live and believe in Jesus and pray to him and he will show up and provide for you and change your heart if you except him as your savior and he will forgive your sins and when he comes back he will separate good and evil and if your are on the good side you will go to heaven but remember when you are tempted to do something bad remember up there he will judge you for everything good and bad thing you have done and I pray you have a good life.❤❤
Its crazy how you can connect with media of any type when dramatic things happen. Whether good or bad, the meanings and feelings imparted on one from a song or show or anything stays with them. When I lost my dad, "remember everything" by five finger death punch played in my car as I was driving around town dealing with the aftermath of his passing. It really hit home. I'd always liked the song, but at that point it changed from a song to an extension of my state of mind. Condolences for your loss, man.
My condolences 🕊❤ Lukas Graham is a HUGE Danish band/artist. The song 7 years is from 2015. If you think this song is beautiful, I will recommend you the song "Mama said". I love the message in that song.
My mom passed in 2013 at 50yo, when this song came out and my son learnt to play it on the piano, seeing your real, raw reaction, you’ve brought it all back. Hugs to anyone who needs it today.
I’m so sorry about your dad my grandad has passed away to😢 but you got to go on you don’t need to forget like some people say I’m crying so I’m going to stop
Lost my mom when I was 21, so I feel that pain. She was 52 and never got to see 60 or know me as a grown woman. I empathize deeply with you. But I'm sure your dad would be so proud of you and your kind heart. It takes a lot of love and strength to let yourself grieve while maintaining such optimism. Hope each day gets lighter and the good outweighs the bad, my dude. ❤
It crazy how these things pop up right when you need them. I lost my nephew Saturday, and had to rush my father to the hospital today. He’s ok right now, but driving home It was almost like a slide show was playing in my mind. The reality hit me in that moment that daddy is fading.. I don’t know what life after will be like, but I will live my days for him. I will make him proud even when he is no longer here in the physical ❤ Beautiful reaction video. So much love and light to you 🖤
Lost my dad January 10th 2024. This is one of the songs that ill admit fo break me. It just brings up alot of good memories amd a few bad ones sometimes ill still hear his laugh and his boice every now n then the last thing he said to me before being he died was "yea im alright just cant get comfortable"
Love and respect, man. My mother was only 42 when she passed. I was in my early 20's. I still miss her. Now I'm in my early 40's. I have a 13 year old son, and lung problems. Life is precious.
My mother passed away when i was 3 years old. I never really got to know her, but it still hurts y'know? I always think about her when i hear this song, as well as my dad. It really hurts, but gosh, it feels amazing at the same time. Stay strong, dude. You're awesome
I don’t cry i just get goosebumps every time when I see stuff like this because it make me remember my dead grandparents and my uncles and I hate how I can’t express it it just makes me feel so sad and I hate it every single time.
Dam i dont think i can hear this song the same way anymore, My nana died just a few days ago just seeing her in a bed just sleeping peacefully (she was in assisted living) the way she was going she couldn't remember who we are sometimes but its eaven turfer on my mom she hadn't have time to eaven really cry as shes trying to organize everything for her funeral that is in a couple days (me and my mom dont live in the same place as my brothers and sisters or anyone from my family and we are on a time limit) when i saw her it was like time stoped right in front of me it was like life threw a brick at me but the only reason i lm not showing emotion is because i dont think i have a right to cry before my mother can im waiting for realty to really focus on whats happing. But like you say it doesn't feel real. Im just glad she lived a long and happy life.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I know you will keep him with you❤ I lost my dad at 16 and I was a real daddy’s girl. it’s now 21 years later and he still impacts my life in more ways that I can count. I told him I forgave him for not being there for all the moments In my life where he knew I would need him, cause I would be okay, I would carry him with me. I got a tribute tattoo (fire and water) done when I was 17. When I met my now husband and he asked me to marry him, he got the promise he couldn’t give my dad in person tattooed on him instead It says “I got Her” and it is a promise he keeps every day. I know my dad would have loved him, and despite never having met, my husband has created a bond through stories and life lessons my dad passed on while he was here. And we have this tradition where every year on the day he died, all of us kids and my mom get together and laugh and share stories about him, we take out picture albums and just take the time to truly remember him. As us kids haven gotten older, spouses and kids have joined this tradition so they too get to know him. My dad’s memory lives on stronger than I think he he could have ever imagined, and there is not a single male grandchild that doesn’t carry his name as a middle name. Hell or High water, we got you dad.
@@Okayrick thank you for taking the time out to reply to my comment. Not many UA-camrs do that you know. And sending big hugs right back. Love you Rikk. 💙🫂
Just ran across this video, first time I heard of you as well. I barely start hearing this song this yr and I had the same exact reaction. One of my favorite songs now. Keep your head up and keep your vision. Guarantee your pops is proud of you🫡🫡🫡
Thank you for showing what a REAL STRONG MAN is like...one who can show real emotions!! Lost my dad at age 55 in 2002...so I totally understand your loss!!! I'm 53 now so I know how short his life was....Keep up the great reactions!!!
I wish i could've had my dad for longer he died when i was 10-11 its been a few years and i still miss him everyday rest in peace. Im sorry for everyone who lost a familly member❤
Its been 2 years now since my little sister passed away at the age of 17 from covid it'll get better bud you just gotta keep moving on and enjoying life. You'll see your father in gods precious land one day later down the road trust
My heart and prayers are with you - I am sorry for your loss - loss is never easy - this song hits home. Make every day count and count your blessing when you wake up every day. Peace.
This actually hitted me. I’m only 14 so I’m really young and not mature yet and this was the song that built my childhood. My dad had me late and has type 1 diabetes, few months ago the doctor told us that if he could survive up to 8 years. My dad has to weight everything he eats and calculate some percentages if he wants to live the longest. He starts eating less or sometimes doesn’t calculate. He worked during his entire life and his dream was to be a photographer. He eventually got prizes and in his entire life, only one person bought one of his photos. My dad is my best friend and when I was watching this reaction my brain processed only now the fact if he does the best I can only live with him until I’m 22 made me cry. His life long he worked to get us food but never had the time for him, I wish him to live the rest of his life to the fullest ❤
Oh sweetheart ive only just come across your video and so sorry you lost your dad ,loss is the hardest thing to live through, hope your not crying everyday now and more laugh8ng at the great memories ❤😊
This reaction gave me a lot of motivation to work harder at my goals so I can spoil everyone in my life before that inevitable day. Rest in peace to your dad he sounded like a great man and he raised a even better one stay positive man♥♥
The line : I hope my children comes and visit twice a month had me in tears thats hits hard enjoy every single moment of your life one day you gonna miss every second of it > Im 16 yrs old soon I'll be 70's old . have a great life man god bless you
You got a sub for your heartfelt an endearing reaction. This song always makes me cry too. Much love brother. Sticking around for the rest of the content ❤

When it switches from "Soon *we'll* be 30 years old" to "Soon *I'll* be 60 years old" hits hard.
After 30, it's unbearable how fast time goes. I blink and a year has gone by.
OMG CORNED 😱😱😱😱
I lost my dad when I was 15. Time doesn't heal all wounds.... but you do learn to live with it. Hang in there - and appreciate your memories.

Lost my father when he was 48. I was 24. Feel your pain man.
Sorry for your loss. ❤

You a real one man God bless 🙌 🙏 ❤️ 💙
Even when you're crying you still keep this smile. Sorry for your dad but your smile makes us and I hope you , believe in better days. Thanks for this.
I love you brother. Keep that chin held high. I really believe your pops is proud of you and all you do every day. Its absolutely ok to cry. Its part of being a human. We all gotta go one day and that is both harsh and beautiful. But we are all here together bro. And that makes the progression of life more beautiful! You are a great reactor my friend 🙏 ❤
I lost both my aunts before they turned 50 they left behind my 6 cousins and 4 grand kids, we miss them everyday and songs like this are what really bring people's minds to what really matters in life
It’s heartwarming to see someone not hold back their emotions for a UA-cam video and spread such an emotional message about life and how precious it is, I lost my grandfather a few years back now when I was 15 and it still only seems like yesterday he went
Your doing amazing though mate keep strong
"Enough to make a grown man cry" -Earl Devereaux
I was crying with you. RIP to your father. Bless you.
Video was randomly suggested to me. Rest in Peace to your Dad, hope you're doing fine. This song also always hits me. Greets from Germany

God bless you man I bet you miss your dad he's in a better place now god bless you and him
This really hits hard.
Thank you. ❤
Aw. I adore you!
I lost my dad to an overdose last week. i’m 18 years old and he only made it to 44. and the way you explained this video helped me so much. thank you

I love this song… stunning composition.. very emotional 😢

Respect to you;-)
I prayed for you and your family and I hope you and your family live a good rest of yours and there live and believe in Jesus and pray to him and he will show up and provide for you and change your heart if you except him as your savior and he will forgive your sins and when he comes back he will separate good and evil and if your are on the good side you will go to heaven but remember when you are tempted to do something bad remember up there he will judge you for everything good and bad thing you have done and I pray you have a good life.❤❤
Be strongh pls 🙏
Its crazy how you can connect with media of any type when dramatic things happen. Whether good or bad, the meanings and feelings imparted on one from a song or show or anything stays with them. When I lost my dad, "remember everything" by five finger death punch played in my car as I was driving around town dealing with the aftermath of his passing. It really hit home. I'd always liked the song, but at that point it changed from a song to an extension of my state of mind. Condolences for your loss, man.
My condolences 🕊❤
Lukas Graham is a HUGE Danish band/artist. The song 7 years is from 2015. If you think this song is beautiful, I will recommend you the song "Mama said". I love the message in that song.
As a dane, im happy to hear and see how Lukas’s Music impacts you and Many others
What a lovely reaction to a very deep song 🙂
It crazy how these things pop up right when you need them. I lost my nephew Saturday, and had to rush my father to the hospital today. He’s ok right now, but driving home It was almost like a slide show was playing in my mind. The reality hit me in that moment that daddy is fading.. I don’t know what life after will be like, but I will live my days for him. I will make him proud even when he is no longer here in the physical ❤ Beautiful reaction video. So much love and light to you 🖤
A year later, you are someone to be proud of.
Lost my dad January 10th 2024. This is one of the songs that ill admit fo break me. It just brings up alot of good memories amd a few bad ones sometimes ill still hear his laugh and his boice every now n then the last thing he said to me before being he died was "yea im alright just cant get comfortable"
Omg I am so sorry for your loss the thing is Jan 10 is also my brother’s birthday
I’m so sorry for your loss please stay strong bro I know it was hard for you but just cherish the memories you made with him
Love and respect, man. My mother was only 42 when she passed. I was in my early 20's. I still miss her. Now I'm in my early 40's. I have a 13 year old son, and lung problems. Life is precious.
Praying for you brother🙏🏼
This song is MASTERPIECE BRUHHH OLD BUT GOLD🎉
My mother passed away when i was 3 years old. I never really got to know her, but it still hurts y'know? I always think about her when i hear this song, as well as my dad. It really hurts, but gosh, it feels amazing at the same time.
Stay strong, dude. You're awesome
I don’t cry i just get goosebumps every time when I see stuff like this because it make me remember my dead grandparents and my uncles and I hate how I can’t express it it just makes me feel so sad and I hate it every single time.
Dam i dont think i can hear this song the same way anymore,
My nana died just a few days ago just seeing her in a bed just sleeping peacefully (she was in assisted living) the way she was going she couldn't remember who we are sometimes but its eaven turfer on my mom she hadn't have time to eaven really cry as shes trying to organize everything for her funeral that is in a couple days (me and my mom dont live in the same place as my brothers and sisters or anyone from my family and we are on a time limit) when i saw her it was like time stoped right in front of me it was like life threw a brick at me but the only reason i lm not showing emotion is because i dont think i have a right to cry before my mother can im waiting for realty to really focus on whats happing. But like you say it doesn't feel real.
Im just glad she lived a long and happy life.
So sorry for your loss. Sounds like a great dad.
I lost my dad over 20years ago and i still shed a tear and miss him like it was yesterday. Thank you for this reaction brother . Its ok to cry men ❤
I’m so sorry for your loss.
I know you will keep him with you❤
I lost my dad at 16 and I was a real daddy’s girl.
it’s now 21 years later and he still impacts my life in more ways that I can count.
I told him I forgave him for not being there for all the moments In my life where he knew I would need him, cause I would be okay, I would carry him with me.
I got a tribute tattoo (fire and water) done when I was 17.
When I met my now husband and he asked me to marry him, he got the promise he couldn’t give my dad in person tattooed on him instead
It says “I got Her” and it is a promise he keeps every day.
Im sorry that he lost his dad and if qe cry the whole world crys in love and peace Eugene gharam
So soul touching song. Im crying

I lost my dad 2 years ago i didn't get to be with him long unuff im 14 now i feel bad for all the people that lost parent or family rip to all of them
My heart and prayers are with you - I am sorry for your loss - loss is never easy - this song hits home.
I know I’m replying to my own comment but I apologize for the long comment and if I made mistakes as English isn’t my first language
No problem and I also want you to know God loves you
