#WhispersOfLumina

This is my little score to the enchanting visuals "Whispers of Lumina" by Marika Schanz. She and my dear friend Martin Heidenreich are currently organizing a film scoring competition, see www.marikascha....
This video is not so much my contribution to the competition, but rather a little demo of what you can do with free music software and libraries. It is the prelude to my new series "Compose for Free".
Since the competition is co-sponsored by ProjectSAM, I thought it would be a fitting occasion to compose my score with their fantastic and absolutely free libraries "The Free Orchestra 1" and "The Free Orchestra 2". Everything you hear in the score are the instruments from these ProjectSAM libraries (except for the flute).

Hi Andreas, we had a similar idea for the beginning, with the Project SAM harp! I particularly like the brass and percussion parts towards the end, and the build then cut-back to the harp. Well done! Best, David.

Great track, so much emotion and mood from the very beginning! And it's great that you made it with these free instruments. I also built mine on some of ProjectSAM's TFO patches, but I added a different harp and some ideophones. Good luck!
