    Thank You ! What a time saver you were. After reading the instructions😮‍💨 I felt like I needed a cigarette ... and I am not even a smoker 😂 you were very clear and gave only necessary and very simple instructions. Now, I am ready to plant. THANK YOU 🙂

    Hi, your garden looks great, thanks for sharing. I think the reason the plug doesn't work is because you were supposed to fill reservoir with water before you planted the vegetables.

    Thank you for showing how much can be done with a Keter rasied bed! I was looking at doing tomatoes with it!

    Thank you for the review. I am definitely going to purchase a couple of these raised planters, they are perfect for the Florida neighborhood where I live. We have lots of little bunnies snacking on plants in the area so the fact that the beds are raised will help with that. My 91 year old mother lives with us so I can see that having these will create a nice activity for her year round. I just wish I was a fan of raw tomatoes, yours look so lovely. At least the hubbie and my mom will enjoy them.

    I did my first garden this spring. Mine aren't producing as much. But I do have 1 pepper 1 eggplant and loads of cherry tomatoes. My herbs are doing great. I will definitely be revisiting this as I plant next year. Will you do a fall garden

    I read that peppers make bad companion plants for tomatoes. Perhaps that's why yours never grew well?
    Thank you so much for this video! It was really nice to see a real garden in the product review. I got the smaller version of this garden bed but now I am rethinking see your lovely garden.

    Beautiful garden. I started my first garden Last spring. Did a winter garden too. Lots of shade so my winter plants gave lots more fruit than spring/summer Garden… 😊

    Thank you so much for this video! It was great and I learned so much. I got my planter a while ago but hadn't gotten anything planted. I wasn't sure what to grow in them so I loved seeing the transition from empty bed to the finished garden? You definitely have a green thumb!

    First off, you look so beautiful!!! I love your blue dress and earrings. As for your garden, wow, how lush!!! It’s so pretty. I can’t believe how much it grew. This is my type of gardening. How do you prevent animals from stealing your vegetables? Also, your Thai Basil is no joke. It grew out so much. I feel like it would be impossible to use all of it while it’s fresh. Do you freeze any of the herbs to preserve them?

    I bet you could replace that plug with a little spigot tap for a barrel. Great video! I have that exact moisture meter.

    Hi! I’m learning so much from your Keter raised garden bed videos - do you have a link to or the brand name of the trellis?

    • @sweetsavant
      @sweetsavant  4 місяці тому +1

      Hello! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video.
      I purchased those trellises from Home Depot a few years ago, but I don't have the information about them.
      I looked on the Home Depot website, but unfortunately, I could not locate them.
      Thanks for watching!

    I am inspired, especially as a raised garden would be so much easier on my back. And the marigolds to help a bit with insects? I wonder if those eggplant blooms are edible like squash blossoms?

    • @sweetsavant
      @sweetsavant  3 роки тому +3

      Great question! Eggplant flowers and leaves are toxic to humans, not edible. Eggplant, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, and tomatillos are members of the Solanaceae (nightshade) family. The flowers, stalks and leaves of these plants are toxic/poisonous because of the alkaloid Solanine. The fruit and seeds are edible. Thanks so much for watching

    Also when do you need to drain it? Thanks in advance

  • @KidNAPolis

    Hello, great video. I plan on buying one or two or these and was watching another video and the lady recommended adding water at the base under the soil barrier before adding soil. Would you say that is a good idea?

    • @sweetsavant
      @sweetsavant  Рік тому +1

      I haven't tried it but it makes sense to add water to the bottom before adding the soil.
      Word of warning when your shopping for the Keter Easy Grow the price has skyrocketed on Amazon. I paid $100 a couple years ago but its now selling for about $180. Shop around at Home Depot or Wayfair
