I want to say Shawne Jackson, she was Domenic Troiano's wife and sang most of the solo female vocals on his compositions. It sounds like her. But, I have not seen an episode to know if the singer was credited. So, I don't know.
@@VBaskin2010 I'm referring to the Canadian Vision tv channel launched in Canada in 1988--I believe you are referring to the American channel VISN. Similar channels in certain respects, but also with some differences.
Actually CBC wanted a 3rd season, but Atlantis Films ended the show themselves as they didn't want to keep tinkering with the show to boost ratings. It was a moderate success, hence Atlantis retooling the show for Season 2, and adding new characters.
I hope someday somebody posts a full episode to see what it was like.
It was very similar to a show called Moonlighting with Cybill Shapard and Bruce Willis.
I wish I could this series somewhere online....

Who sings the theme song?
Taborah Johnson. She starred in the show. Her sister is jazz singer, Molly Johnson and her brother is actor/director, Clark Johnson.
It was composed by B. J. Cook and the late Domenic Troiano. The same duo who wrote the themes from Night Heat and Hot Shots.

When CBC could still make decent, entertaining shows that more than just a few people would watch.
Just love Roberta Maxwell
When the Toronto skyline was beautiful
Just watched this again for the 15th time in 24 hours and yep - I'm obessed with this show now.
They should put on the entire episodes of this TV show on UA-cam!
Yeah exactly, it was all funded by taxpayers anyway, they should make it public for all to see
I remember watching this mid-afternoons, 1987. They should release the episodes to the public.
Yes, I remember that as well, re-runs on Vision tv mid-afternoons, used to watch at lunch before I returned to high school.
Uh don't you mean VISN @@LeylandNational01?
@@VBaskin2010 Vision TV, now also known as Zoomer Television. Would usually come on around 2pm.

So 80s. I love it.
How long did this last?
IMDB states 2 seasons of 26 episodes total. Sounds right from what I remember.
Tim Gueguen Thanks.

I love how the bar was next door to the Silver Snail...
Thank You I've Been Looking For That Intro!
Did that contained violence?
Nope.
Vaughn Baskin Why not?
Because Preston Like DeGrassi AirWaves was strictly a family type drama series.
Vaughn Baskin Thanks for your comment.
My pleasure.
