- Not been to this location for over twelve months, so as it was a nice sunny night with very little wind about it was a good opportunity to capture some freight trains and other workings.
So as I enjoyed the time there it would be good if my YT followers enjoy the video also.
Superb location Mike and some great catches. Cheers, Jeff.
Oh yes Jeff, I did give it a go in March but it was flooded.
Take care, and thanks for watching, Mike
Super footage from this countryside location.
Matthew it was great to go back to this peaceful place.
Super video Mike. Nice to see there's still a nice mix along that stretch of railway in the evening. Well done. 🤓
Many thanks Tony, last time I tried to go there the pathway was flooded. Take care Mike.
Great video Mike, those sort of locations are few and far between these days so it's really good that you know where they are. Thanks for sharing mate, take care, Colin.
Yes you are right Colin, there are other good one's along this stretch of line but this one is not to far to walk to,
Thank you very much for your comment, Mike.
Excellent video, great location 👍
Glad you enjoyed it matey, I do like the location very much, but not to go there to often.
Looks a nice peaceful place to spend a couple of hours 👍
It really is worth checking it out James, cheers for watching.
Great footage Mike. Love the 70s!
Cheers Ed for the comment, tried to go in the winter but was flooded.
Great place for filming.👍👍
Yes it is David. and we had good weather on a hot evening.
Good video mate I remember your last one here
Nice one mate, I think last time at Didcot North there was more going on.
I go to another foot crossing South of Banbury it gives you a longer view than this location . Those Freight liner 70,s what a sound I live about 3 miles from this line and on a summer evening you can hear those 70,s climbing out of Oxford Northbound .. Fantastic video thanks
Thank you for watching my video, is the foot crossing you have mentioned the one before Kings Sutton or more south than there.
Yes great sound for you in the summers months Stephen, thanks for your interest in my video.
@antman09ful1 yes King's Sutton great little spot anywhere on that field over the crossing
Great video.
Pleased you checked this one out J.
Great video Mike :)
Cheers Simon.
Great video man! Nothing matches the sounds of 70s and 68s under power these days! Superb stuff.
Couldn't agree more thank you for the comment.
Amazing shots and captures there Mike! Nice sounds and liveries. Another gooden from you! Good location that, lots of action! Great Chiltern 68s and FL 70 too. Very nice indeed! Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing! Take care, have an awesome day and all the best! Jamie
Thanks Jamie, I do like the place but not to go there a lot because guys like yourself might get feed up of watching the same location.
Take care Mike.
@antman09ful1 Anytime Mike, yeah fair enough, always nice to get to difference locations. And you!
Excellent footage Mike. Good to see drivers sending some tones for you. Thank you for sharing 👍
Yeah its good when drivers say hi using there tones Arnold.
I'm guessing that the bridge abutments visible are where the Stratford and Midland Junction Railway crossed the Chiltern line?
Yes I believe it was Nigel, thanks for your interest in the video.
What awesome spot mike, another great video, thanks for sharing, 🎉🎉🎉🎉
So pleased you enjoyed the footage Mark, yes indeed a spot on place to visit for a few hours, ATB Mike.
Nice one Mike, you always know where the foot crossing are as well as tooting at you.
Well the Chiltern driver were good mostly Keith as you seen.
This spot always reminds me of dear Keith Mike! One of my all time wishes would be to visit here so idyllic, love the Chiltern line, went i asked Keith exactly where it is he said it was difficult to find, and that he referred to Google Earth! The sister in law lives in Banbury might pay a visit here in August. Is it around the the Bicester area? Fantastic freight action there great seeing the 68's passing at speed. Really enjoyed this, cheers Nick.
Nick its no where near Bicester, when you go to your sister's let me know and I will explain were it is, Keith is right its not easy to find if you don't know the area.
Thank you very much for watching, Mike.
@@antman09ful1Cheers Mike!
