The "Apache" gang (1952)... This is my favorite episode in the whole series. That mother blaming the cops for her son's behavior. I guess she didn't know her son at all.
That mother was so annoying .. she probably lived in denial about her son's death her entire life .. What a narcissist .. there are a lot of parents that treat their children like they are buddies or partners , bad parenting .
At least three of those gang names are real -Happy Valley, Rose Hills and Purple Hearts. Gangs on the "East Side" back then were overwhelmingly Mexican and a few black gangs. The gangmembers in this show all seem to be non-Hispanic white which must have seemed funny to actual Los Angeles listeners.
Wow , this show was very dramatic and intense for 1952!
