I started watching you videos a couple of weeks ago. I so enjoy them, it is just like sitting down for a visit with a couple of friends. All of my friends where I now live are quilters and although I enjoy my quilting projects, I also enjoy doing cross stitch in the evenings. BTW, Liz, I live in Tucson just south of the air base across I-10.
I started watching the video on Friday morning and had to stop due to the ad. I decided to try it again today Saturday and no ads. Thank you for having it fixed. I started over and enjoyed the video. You ladies had a lot of fun and I was laughing out loud.

You both inspired me to think outside the box on my project. One of the called for flosses was a gold metallic. It was awful and it looked awful. I tried three different types and didn’t like stitching with any of them. I ordered silk floss and it just came today. The gold is so pretty and has the right amount of shimmer. Can’t wait to stitch with it. Thank you😊 Small #1

I loved hearing you mention Nancy’s shop in Rockford! I first visited her shop as a brand new stitcher when she was in a section of Rockford called the Victorian Village. Oh my the models! Her second shop was so much easier to get to and oh was I sad when she closed!

I think I will like stitching with the magnifying headlight glasses- eventually. For now I'm getting over the shock of seeing my stitches and how uneven they look all "blown up"!😄 My OTC readers did not reveal that before. I definitely like being able to see the tv over the lens. Daddy regularly went to the cattle sale and one day he came home with several baby calves...one of which was a precious Holstein calf of about 3--4 days old....daddy gave it to me to pet and take care of. George grew up to be a huge, beautiful sweet cow (not a girl but nevertheless). What an experience!! That pattern would be perfect in our den! Love your channel.
I have those magnifying glasses and like them. They do get heavy over time. I have a magnifying floor lamp that the light adjusts to low to a very bright light. I use it in my stitching spot but if I stitch anywhere else, I use the glasses. They may not be the best eye fashion statement but the benefits outweigh the look. I also have the Halo light but I really can’t get comfortable using it. I use it in my sewing room next to my sewing machine and it provides great light while sewing. I love everything you all are stitching. I am anxious to see Santa’s Chair finished. Deb, The Mary Beale Wreath is beautiful. I am certainly glad that you don’t color inside the lines. You have freed a lot of stitchers to do their own thing. How did that song go? 🎶 “It’s your thing! Do what you want to do.”🎶. I didn’t know that song was about cross stitching. Hmmm. I just recently got my pair of eye goggles too and LOVE them I wear 2.0 magnifier glasses under them and they are amazing...I use clip #1.5. I'm chuckling cause Deb's voice octave went up 3 levels the more she played with them. Good luck with the 56ct !! I love you ladies. Deb your hair is beautiful, as usual!

I ike small number one, it's calming and just lovely. I also like that is is a lesser seen designer. I like all the blackbirds, but they get alot of play. I usually don't even look at kits, but even if I don't win, I am stitching that sweet cow!
