The mistake most people make, I was in that pack as well. People use indicators to confirm once they are already in a trade as a reassurance that you made the right trade, even if it is not working out for you.
I prefer o use the MACD, or combine it with the RSI. The RSI can be overbought or oversold for a long time in a strong trending security or market. It works best when in a range. It makes a big difference depending on what time frame you use it with. It should be only for confirmation and not a buy or sell signal. I find that it works best when it is crossing 30 to verify my buy signals. Likewise a sell confirmation when it crosses below 70 on the way down (this one is less reliable). You may also use it to determine divergences, but I like the MACD better, specially the Zero Lag MACD, not the classical. Cheers

That’s true 👏🏼 it’s important to see the whole picture and there much more factors included for me than only indicators ☀️
