    Great videos, subscribed :) For me spear was the main weapon on NA server for a long time before I got a bit tired of it. Now on EU beta I kinda feel that I really need T6+ spear to fight people, it always feels 'not enough', thinking of trying to switch to swords/axe/xbow.
    I didn't really try Cripple though, should try that.

      Thank you! Btw I also thought that I need t6+ but I've been playing a bit with 4.1 and 4.2 spear for a specific challenge and honestly it still feels ok even without all W options.

    I re watch that, what about chest and head passive? Balance mind or CD? Im tryng both, ofc with cd sound easier to kill for me, but so squishy

      I think it's best to strike a balance between CDR and other stats and not go too far in either direction. I prefer to use CDR passives together with torch and roasted snapper. If, however, I were to use eel stew and mistcaller, I'd change passives to balanced mind.

    Can you do a comparison of pvp tactics between Spear and Daybreaker? I feel like they require different playing styles (when to engage, kite, etc) but can't quite understand it.

      In my experience Daybreaker is much more brawl-heavy because you have less mobility. It's very difficult to catch meta builds. If you hit a nice E you can outmaneuver your enemy of course but the cooldown is kinda high and the animation makes it difficult to hit from far. Daybreaker is very strong in Corrupted Dungeons though.

    And what passives do you play on your hood and jacket?

    • @VicZaneGaming
      @VicZaneGaming  2 місяці тому +1

      I generally use roasted snapper and take CDR passives on hood and jacket. However, overall it's about striking a balance between having some CDR (10-20% total) and being tanky so with mistcaller and eel stew I would take balanced mind passives instead. Part 4 will answer this question in a bit more detail also.

    Why second "Q" is so bad? Im new into spears but its seems ok gor me.

      Hitting Q-s is a significant part of your damage. Q1 is very strong when you are kiting your enemy as well as in-between autoattacks during a brawl. Q2 only feels decent if you are kiting a melee weapon and able to hit them with the extra auto-attack range while they can't hit you. For every other part of the fight, Q1 gives you more value and more options. Also it's very easy to run out of energy on Q2 if you're not careful.
      Note that this is all about the 1h spear. For the playstyle of some other spears like trinity or pike Q2 can make more sense. Two-handed spears also gain more from the stacks itself since it's +% damage.
