Евгений Плющенко показывает не только высокий образец фигурного катания, но и столь же высокий образец культуры. Как я замечаю, не столь часто сочетающиеся качество среди фигуристов. Кроме этого справедливо отмечают артистические способности Евгения. Умение в своём танце, в фигурном катании, где не столь много можно, казалось бы, показать, по сравнению с традиционными танцами, отобразить характер и особенную, присущую только этому лирическому персонажу, красоту. За это мы его и любим .

@sahajad Because the ISU wanted the N-Am to win. And the Russian Skating Fed. didn't defend him after the short program. The short program's scores were the most controversial thing in the whole story. It was so outrageous how after the short program the judges gave both of them the same score so Evan could have a chance at beating Plush. Plushenko's short program was so much superior to Lyca's. Lysacek won, Oly champ is Lysacek, but the world knows the truth, and loves and respects Evgeni.

Cute isn't he ? But now he is swollen headed ! I saw his brash behaviour at the Canadian Winter Olympics in 2010 . He was quite boastful there but finally he got only the 2nd place ! But yes, I agree that he is a genius and also a clown !
