Sorry in advance for the ramble. I clicked on this video expecting just a normal, routine, asmr watching experince. At the end of this video, though, I decided to go back and watch your other two tattoo tour videos, because I've been mapping out my own tattoo plans recently and was curious about some you hadn't gone over here. I watched the 3 year ago one first, then the one from 5 years ago, and then rewatched parts of this one. Coming from the first tattoo video back to this one has been incredible, Karuna Obviously who you were in the video from 5 years ago was amazingly strong and perfect in her individual way, but seeing your current self being so confident, bright, and not being so harsh to yourself has given me a sense of relief and hope about my own life in a way I didn't know I needed. I was saddened before at the end of that video, when you were talking to the people who were still there about how sorry you were and how negatively you saw the way you'd been telling your story, and I just wanted to travel through space and time and hug you in that moment. And then coming here and realizing that that verison of me, that needs a hug, will be ok someday was and is amazing. Obviously things aren't ever perfect, but knowing that you are the way you are now because of, not in spite of, who you used to be made me stop feeling guilt about the version of me in the future who can be the person I'm working towards now Also, seeing you talk about plans you were so certain of that didn't actually happen made me less guilty about plans I've made and not followed through on. Even if things don't go exactly as I first think of them, or second, or third, I'll be ok. Thank you for being there, and sharing these parts of yourself, it truly honestly gives me hope that I didnt know I was missing
Just want to say that your story resonates so much with me. Almost died on an OR table removing a tumor from my tongue. Never smoked a day in my life. Was stage IV and required radiation. I’m so sorry we both had to struggle through this and I hope you know how strong you are. At this point, there’s nothing you cannot conquer ❤

My mum had her Thyroid out when I was nine, she also has Graves’ disease, she had an overactive thyroid, and it was very chaotic and stressful for all of us in the years leading up to and around it, so I have some idea of what this might be like for you- if I’m right- I’m so proud of you for getting back into doing- life so quickly. I wanted to mention (if you haven’t heard before) that when listening to your videos with headphones, the audio output between right and left are actually reversed. If you play back one of your videos with headphones yourself, you’ll see what I mean: when you speak to the listener’s right, the sound actually comes out of the left headphone. Not sure what you need to do… it could be that you may need to just turn your microphone 180°. Another idea may be to just check your encoding and reverse the input balance so it properly registers. Either way, it would GREATLY improve your already excellent work if the direction of your audio was synchronized with your video 🤗 Sending you love!

I understand how you feel with the thyroid surgery. I had to get parathyroid surgery due to my Hashimoto’s disease and high calcium count. Sadly it didn’t help much since I’m still passing kidney stones since age 19, but I’m glad the surgery went good for you and helped you in some way :)
