Damn bobo! Im glad not not be looking down the business of that beast!! With the snikas cage did you extend the brass barrel or widen the barrel at all? You may want a red dot with the cage as well, especially if your running koosh darts. With a little warm up on mine I can put darts on target at range with ease. Looking forward to the war footage!
One improvement for the stormfire is putting the turret swap key on a little piece of rope that is attached to the blaster, so there is no chance of dropping the key when turret swapping.
Sweet build, only comment about it would be the gloss coat is a little too reflective, it highlights some of the e-putty areas, I personally would prefer matt, but the scheme is nice though.
Hey Bobo! I just bought Buzz Bee Air Warriors Ultra-Tek Sentinel and I really like it. Only downside is that there are only 8 darts in the clip so I was wondering where I could buy new clips so I don't run out of ammo so quickly? :)
That is so awesome, I wish I could mod like you can! I can't even replace the spring on my Longstrike which is now in pieces, but luckily I've still got the barrel intact.
have you seen Outof Darts's new project, if so will you try to get one on you gun sometime later on in the future? Also why don't you make the swarmfire turret use magnets stay in the front of the blaster as well?
I have used 65D in the past and have had issues with it in terms of ratios. Multiple times I've gotten near 1:1 ratios only to have the 65D not cure correctly and have to be removed. For the smaller gaps, I used a LOT of Loctite 5 minute set- 2 part epoxy. I forgot to mention it, but I used almost 80% of the bottles filling gaps on this thing. For large gaps, nothing beats epoxy putty, IMO.
Amazing mod absolutely stunning. Forgive my ignorance but I thought if you had more motors you would want more cells in your battery. With at least 4 motors wouldn't you want at least a 4 cell battery?
Would three MTB honey badger motors in a rapidstrike running on a 9.6 NimH battery work or would I have to upgrade to three MTB rhino motors on a better battery?

just a tip, use smooth cast 65 D for your Integrations it's SUPHA strong and you will break the plastic befor the Integration. It's quite expensive, but HOLLY CRAP it's worth it!
I've used it before. While it worked nicely, it's finicky with the ratio. I would be just sliiiiiiightly off 1:1, and it wouldn't cure properly even after a few days. That and it can't be used for gap filling are why I always go with epoxy putty and liquid epoxy.
oh I just talked to Tom and he recommended 3 hellcats because the xp are volt hoggers and he never uses 130 motors as a pusher. Why do you need a fuse is it because of high current coming through the lipo.
Hellcats are great, torque-y motors. You don't need any torque with the pusher though. It's so in case there's a stall (at a certain amperage. 40A would be for 2 motors stalling, for example) the LiPo doesn't get surged and the circuit can be cut off so nothing keeps running- potentially causing problems.
I just had a idea a MTB wolverine on a 2s get 12darts a second on a 2s which is amazing. Xp 180s r the hardest hitting motors on the market so if you have a wolverine 180 as a pm and 2 extreme 180 motors you will be unstopable. You should try that. You'll need a big ass lipo though.
It bugs me that you are not shooting with the hill right behind the target. If you moved the target over just a little then you would not lose as many darts
What's the perfect LiPo for a Stampede. I'm planning on rewiring mine with the proper wire gauge and everything, I trust you'd know what LiPo to use since you make amazing Stampedes
hmmm i love how quiet the rapid strike is. but im wanting to make a rayven into full auto (or somekinda bullpup setup) that is as quiet as can be but still high powered
"Quiet" and "flywheels" don't really go together. Mine sounds quiet because I use audio limiters so my videos stay under a certain decibel range. You can get some quieter set-ups with balanced flywheels and aluminum cage, but they'll still have some loudness to them.

It's a blade style fuse I got off Amazon. You can also get the holder there too- just make sure you read the dimensions before buying... this one was MASSIVE even after cutting it down.
Sorry to disappoint. If I'm not mistaken, BSUK either put that on hiatus or stopped completely. I wish I showed this (may do it in a load out video?), but the Rapidstrike has amazing burst fire control with just your trigger finger. Extremely responsive and crisp. No need for fancy wiring and programming.

Rapidstrike/Stampede integrations are always the coolest.
One improvement for the stormfire is putting the turret swap key on a little piece of rope that is attached to the blaster, so there is no chance of dropping the key when turret swapping.

Also while you are reloading the Rapidstrike, you can have the swarmfire to protect yourself, as well as being able to frontload the swarm fire.

You need to wait 3-7 days to put clear coat on your blasters. The paint emits chemicals that ruin clear coat if it's not done curing.
with the exposed wire you might be able to get heat shrink or electical tape on it

My glob the darts are so inaccurate. The darts go everywhere. Guess that's why they are called flamethrower builds. Loved the teamwork with Hawki!

you will likely have to use less, and it will be extremely strong

Also motor dampeners work, and surrounding your cage with noise reducing foam.

Bobo, can you run Extreme 180 with imr battery? If you can do you need a dummy battery to or not?
You caaaaaan, but IMRs aren't able to give the amount of amperage needed for most motor upgrades. You'll be putting extra stress on them with XP180s.
ok, can you recommend any other battery mayby a lipo that can fit in a stock stryfe tray or a extended one if it's needed leave a link please!
If you're asking me, then you should do more research on LiPos, how to handle them, and what the different specs mean for them.

Higher discharge rate just means you aren't stressing the battery in any way- there's enough amperage there and then some.
