I've been acquiring plastic bins for free, but I noticed someone using cardboard boxes, and despite my inquiries, there was no response. Living in a remote area without proper mail service, I've been manually cutting labels. However, I've rented an office in town, and they handle daily pickups for businesses. I'm currently organizing the office space, and it's progressing well. In January, I faced a hospitalization, but I'm gradually resuming normal activities. Appreciated your video, Julie. 👏🏼🙋🏻♀️🙏🏼❤️

How do you end up with your spreadsheets that show your cost and profits? I have not started selling in eBay yet. I kinda want to have things set up and a small amount of items ready to post before I start. Could you please do a video on how you got started initially?
@@user-sr3li5tz9i I put how much I spend on an item in the custom SKU box and then I just look up on eBay how much I paid for shipping and fees and subtract for profit. I don’t have a spreadsheet system. But I do use my reseller genie, which I highly recommend for accounting. And you can track your inventory through that if you want. My advice would be to just start selling. If you wait for a perfect time to start, you never will.

Julie, I am a new sub and I am so glad I found your channel! Your tour was so fun to watch. You did a wonderful job setting this all up. It really inspired me to make my reselling room much more efficient. My death pile, boxes and listed inventory is in our back part of basement. My researching and cleaning area is in a small 9x10 spare bedroom and shipping table is in hallway just outside of that room. We have a finished game room/bar in basement there is no way I would be able to turn it into reselling area. Thanks again. Best video this year thus far!! P.S. I love pulling junk out of someone’s trash and also to get FREE items on FBM.

Prior to splurging on my Rollo after two years, I printed labels and stuffed them into clear envelopes I'd stick on the boxes. (Super convenient.). Love your setup! My inventory is in the master bedroom, box storage in the enclosed porch. Only part-time for now, but one day I'll be retired. Then I can up my game!

In the beginning, I started with a lamp, and I put the shade on upside down, so it kind of made a funnel effect. It was extra hard because I had to fight the shadows. But I made do. You can also buy a very cheap ring light and those are less bulky too.

Have you ever discussed your SKU process and how you store the items? It appears that you do thinks a certain way for items in boxes, but I wondered how you handle the other things in your inventory. Thanks for the tour
If it’s not clothes or shoes, it gets put on one of the open shelves or if it’s a really small item I put it in the storage drawers I showed. So when I sell something most of the time, I remember exactly where it is but if not I just scan the shelves quickly ( if it’s a larger item) or look in the drawers, if it’s a smaller item.

Thanks for the tour! I love seeing different ideas :) Question: You mentioned a "pick ticket" for your shipment pulls. What do you print off (where to find on your Ebay account)? I typically print up the "packing slip" just for our references, but if I could have one or two sheets from a "pick ticket" that would certainly save on the paper costs! TIA!
If you use bulk shipping it gives you the option to print a pick list. If you print your orders one by one it won’t give that option.

I don’t always list just clothes but I try to average 15-20 new listings a day between my husband and I.
