@@meghanmacqueen5157 Yeah I feel you, I’ve heard a lot (especially newer) fans describe their sound as making them “feel nostalgic for a time they didn’t experience” lol. They have a lot of beautiful songs but this is one of their very best, IMO. It also reminds me of my mom, so it’s very dear to me.

Yes - infinitely better than the album. I love it. It doesn't beat seeing Harriet Wheeler and The Sundays live in a small club over two decades ago, but it's still awesome.

These KEXP live versions are absolute gold. I loved the album version but this is just as amazing.
she is so real and genuine, when she glances at someone in the studio and smiles you can see it so much, what a touching authenticity, it transfers to her music, it feels like talking to your best friend

There is something so attractive about the lead singer, I could spend hours listening to her just sing.

This is where it all started for me. This song. This clip. I discovered Alvvays one night about 4 or 5 years ago with this beautiful rendition of this amazing song....and it still gives me chills. I had never heard of Alvvays before, but that night, I became a huge fan. That outro kills me. Every. time.
