How to Hinder Your Calling (Proverbs

Many people are indecisive and sometimes even the simplest of decisions like where to eat for lunch, what kind of shampoo to buy, and what to wear for the day feel like some of the toughest decisions they will have to make. And Christians are not immune to indecisiveness. Perhaps you have heard the phrase “Let go and let God.” Pastor/theologian J. I. Packer reminds us, “The Christian’s motto should not be ‘Let go and let God’ but ‘Trust God and get going.’
In this sermon, we learn how easy it is to hinder one's calling in life. We learn from Proverbs 24:30-34 how to fight against apathy, indecisiveness, and the tendency to do nothing or anything but the good and timely thing.
