Leeuwarden is such a sweet town! I went there first in 2018, back then only for plane spotting and enjoying the sounds of freedom (which occur just in the first minute of your video), but when I had a walk through the town I fell in love with it. So many tiny little sweet spots, and there's an awesome hostel, the Alibi Hostel which is basically an old prison used as a hostel now. Since then I went there at least once a year just for holidays without visiting the airbase nearby.

If I only speak American English will I be able to communicate with anyone? I wish to visit one day as my family came from Friesland about 1698 and would love to see where we came from in person.

Fun fact There is Actually an Airbase Outside Leeuwarden it's called Leeuwarden Airbase.
A very nice walk around Leeuwarden I'm happy you visited and hope you had a good time here!
I recommend checking out the prinsentuin park in Leeuwarden truly a beautiful park.

Ein wunderbarer Spaziergang! Ich finde Holland schön, war aber bis jetzt noch nie dort. Daher bin ich sehr froh und dankbar mit Dir so zu spazieren.
